    Casual gathering with friends, first time for me and return customers for my friends. I got some expectations on this restaurant since it’s been talked so much, but the tasting was okay, standard quality. We ordered all foie gras one bite dishes, the base were too chewy that you’ve already finished foie gras and you’d have to continue chewy the rest, which was imbalanced for a complete design. As for the famous Wellington, portions were big enough for family sharing, but mushroom sauce should be more attached, steak itself was good and tender, but performance of puff pastry was too wet. I’ll return for its pastry box or brunch for another chance.

    Baked goods are fabulous. The carrots stole the show. Thoroughly enjoyable brunch with lots of happy people enjoying themselves.

    Always so good. Perfect steak. Delicious foie gras items (foie-co, foie gras and crispy rice.) Amazing caviar sandwich. Also a fantastic lunch/brunch menu (incredible lobster crepe!)

    This restaurant can be described as one word: pretentious. Had the escargot appetizer and it was just a simple chimichurri with a heated baguette. Anyone can make this and the flavors were extremely ordinary and plain. Ordered the steak frites sandwich and it was dreadful. The skirt steak was cooked well done when it was promised to be medium rare. I cannot agree with the presentation, plating, and makeup of this dish because the sandwich soaks up all the juices in the dish rendering it extremely soggy and gross. The sauce was also very salty so the sandwich just became a soggy salty mess that just fell apart to reveal its embrassingly well-done steak interior. I could've just made this infinitely better at home by splitting a baguette, cooking a medium rare steak, spreading chimmichurri and horseradish mayonnaise across the meat, and topping it with a side of fries. Just an embarrassment to fine dining, can't even get basic fundamental techniques and flavor combinations correct. I then had the foie gras pancake and it was equally disastrous. The blueberry pancakes should be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but ended up soaked in a cloyingly sweet and sour maple sauce that tries to cut through the richness of the meal but just makes it worse. I would've tried a very reduced maple sauce lightly drizzled on the pancake to retain the crispiness of the pancake and also minimize the cloyingly sweetness and richness of the meal. The foie gras was seared well, but the inside was stringy and the flavors didn't mix well with the pancake and maple sauce. The overall dish was extremely confused and didn't know what it was trying to be, resulting in another soggy mess of poorly executed techniques. Would not come here again, most disappointing fine dining experience of life with absolutely incompetently made dishes.
