    We had a 7:30 pm reservation inside and was told we had to wait or sit outside so we sat outside. Clearly the staff doesn't manage the outside tables well as we were constantly neglected! It took 30 minutes to get bread, our lemons for water and then cocktails. The King crab entree - potatoes undercooked and no place for shells or a hand wipe or lemon hot towel. King crab was very tasty! Filet, Grouper and Salmon along with Spinach, Augratin potato's and corn were very good!! The food is great, the service horrid, the noise level too difficult and the courtesy of our reservation request below the high standard of such a restaurant.

    Nice bar, great food and outstanding service. We’ve been to other Ocean Primes, all with the same review. Our only complaint was the lack of water views.

    Easter sunday very busy. Staff very busy. Very nice dinner Only issue was that the sides this day really not shareable for 4 people. Waiter was friendly and professional

    So excited that OP. Came to Sarasota. 2nd time going since they opened. 1st time was wonderful. Service great, food & drinks were very good. Came back with family .. ordered the 7oz Australian wagyu filet for my nephew who was very excited to try it for his first time. They were out of it and suggested we could instead get the 16oz and all share it. The others didn’t want it and why couldn’t they take the 16oz and portion it to 7oz? Disappointed. Sushi roll was nice as well as the tuna tartar. For entrees we ordered a 16 oz ribeye medium rare it was chewy and low flavor, and an 8 oz filet came out full of gristle. Unbeatable. Sent the filet back. Did not charge us which was appreciated but left unsatisfied. We had mash and brussel sprouts for side. Mashed potatoes were delicious but the sprouts were ruined by the raw drenched balsamic pour over them. Martinis were small and deluded. Best part was the dessert. Some king of chocolate PB bomb. Not sure I’d go back for the steaks maybe sushi & drinks at the bar. Server in general was nice but for the price, vibe they are going for all just ok. Prime steaks should be their priority and it was lacking.

    Brunch menu was delightful! Also ordered Prime Roll for appetizer to share and warm vanilla cake for dessert. All excellent!
