Tiny tiny OKONOMIYAKI canteen next to the London Eye. Okan means Mother in OSAKA direct. Enjoy mummy ‘s home cooking! There's no need to fly all the way to Japan. Just step through our door and you'll feel like you're in a back street in OSAKA. Great Sake and Small Izakaya tapas dishes.

My 12 year old recommended it as he went there for a party recently- it was cool,I loved the vibe and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back again. Fortunately for me it’s on my way home as I catch my home bound train from Waterloo.

This was my fourth visit to Okan and it was as good as ever. Our okonomiyaki and aubergine were delicious and the service was super friendly.

The team at Okan were great. So accommodating, helpful and friendly. The food was divine and we loved how authentic it felt. Will definitely return!

A brilliant, little eaterie that has quirky decor, an open kitchen and comfortable vibe. The service was a little slow, e.g. no offer for more drinks and the bill was brought without the offer of dessert. However, the food is impeccable. Every morsel was delicious and great value for money. The range of dishes is perfect and there are veggie options too. We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend Okan, Waterloo.

As always, a fantastic place to enjoy a little piece of Osaka in London. It's like being back in Japan... I'd highly recommend the hot plum wine on a cold night.

Nice authentic Japanese food, lovely small bar feeling but minus is a lack of good ventilation, so lots of smoke smelling clothes afterwards. Overall good food , nice staff, and atmosphere!
