Classic Gotham Steakhouse located in the ultra chic Meat Packing District, established in 1868. The restaurant maintains it's strong relationships with their butchers, allowing them to get their first pick of beef. Nothing but prime dry aged meat - always has been and always will be. Winner of the 2006 Wine Spectator Award. Lobsters ranging in sizes from 4 - 13 lbs., sushi grade tuna, sockeye salmon, Colossal crab meat and shrimp so big they are referred to as small bananas.

    The food was incredible and at first service was great and then once we got our food no one came back to check on us until he brought the check. We were celebrating a birthday and were a party of 6. We would have definitely gotten more drinks and dessert. Not sure if they were understaffed or if this is just typical. We would definitely go back as the food was really good.

    Service top notch. The big ribeye was kind of tough and chewy. Wife enjoyed the filet said it was delicious and cooked perfectly

    A historic stakehouse in NYC that is a bucket list stop. Service was great and food was good. However, for the price there are lots of other great options. Good for a one-time memorable evening in NYC.

    Oyster Rockefeller and crab mushrooms were great starters. Steak au poivre was perfectly cooked. Surprisingly the wine list was really short but service was great and made for an enjoyable evening out.
