   The food was good but I wouldn’t write home about it as there was nothing that stood out as amazing. The cocktails were good however the waiter waited until our check was on the table to see if we wanted a 2nd one so for most of the meal we only had water to drink. We had reservations and paid a $10 per person charge up front to book. They neglected to take that off our final bill until I mentioned it. They also sat us right next to what appeared to be accordion doors (behind the kitchen?) and the telephone was ringing non stop. It was quite annoying and when I asked the waiter about it he casually said yes, there is a phone on the other side. Overall, we made the best of the experience but I don’t think I’ll go running back.

   Lobster bisque wasn’t that great, but the fettuccine carbonara was excellent.

   A clean and courteous place. Staff is very pleasant and serviceable. Our Ladies afternoon out was great thanks to Orange Hill!

   The restaurant is located inside a structure that was formerly a diner and there are still tell tale signs of that past life. The lunch specials were good and fairly priced. One of our party was going to order a lamb dish from the menu, but was told that they had just sold the last one and it was no longer available. After the lunch we decided to order the Chocolate Dome cake for dessert and, as luck would have it, they had once again just sold the last one As a side note, as we were about to leave we saw a “sold out” Chocolate Dome Cake delivered to another table. That certainly put a damper on the whole experience.

   The staff here are very nice. But the place is mediocre. I ordered a chicken and bacon personal pizza. There was no sauce on the pizza and it was very dry. There was also less than a slice of bacon on the entire pie. Two slices didn’t have any, and one had a tine piece. My husband ordered chicken scarpariello. Has been ordering that dish for over forty five years. This was the first time it was served with broccoli, cabbage and a creamy white sauce. Usually you have a choice of tomato sauce or a garlic and oil sauce. The potatoes were fried cubes, and they are usually lightly fried sliced potatoes. We asked for bread, but they don’t serve it during lunch, even though my husband ordered from the dinner menu. We are relatively new to the area and have tried several other restaurants. This one is the only one we won’t go back to.

   We sat outside on the patio overlooking beautiful orange county! Well, the restaurant somehow could not locate our OpenTable reservation. They still accommodated our time and I was able to show them on my phone that I did have a reservation.

   Excellent food and generous portions. Unusual and tasty combinations. I had chicken mango with cashews; the cashews were ground up with the sauce and it was delicious. The chicken was very tender and plentiful.

    From outside and even in through the front door the restaurant is not impressive. Even in the dining room, the large TV screen advertising specials is a distraction, but this is actually a very good restaurant. Salmon, shrimp and scallops were perfect. Plating was beautiful and vegetables especially fresh, cooked lightly and tasty. Risotto was disappointing-really not risotto at all. Service was friendly and efficient, but flawed when the server took a used knife off the plate when removing the first course and putting it back on the table. Otherwise a very fine meal, beautifully presented with nice crystal and friendly service.
