Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past.

We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening.

Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve revelled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour.

Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion.

From the OpenTable editors: Osteria Giulia, chef Rob Rossi and restaurateur David Minicucci’s follow-up to Giulietta, builds on its sibling’s accolades. Rossi’s take on Ligurian-inspired dishes like hand-braided pasta with wild squid is equal parts fresh and refined and exudes the same understated elegance as the restaurant’s serene Yorkville dining room.

    Amazing experience, we have eaten at numerous Michelin restaurants and this may have been the best. Service was beyond amazing. Our server Giancarlo was absolutely spectacular in every possible way. Could not respect his attention to detail and hospitality more. It was an experience we will remember for a long time.

    Wow. Excellent experience. Beautiful, understated room, and absolutely top-notch service from every staff encounter - very professional, but always friendly, knowledgeable and generous. Cocktails were interesting and beautifully balanced. Food was delicious with exceptional execution. Incredible wine list, but perhaps not for those who may be faint-of-wallet. There was a slight misstep with my wife's entree, but recovering from a simple mistake such as this is where a great restaurant really shows what they're made of, and Giulia absolutely shined in this regard. We had a great evening and would very happily return.

    As someone who’s eaten at many of the restaurants the city has to offer. Osteria Giulia is by far my favourite. Never had a bad experience or a bad dish. Absolutely love this place.

    Worst experience I’ve ever had!! We felt we were unwelcome!! I do not recommend if you are celebrating something, I took my wife to celebrate her birthday and she couldn’t ever take a picture there, she felt humiliated by the waiters since we arrived!!

    Superb food quality. Service impeccable. Needed some menu translations though. Only beef was being charged $6 for tap water. That is a big gouge.

    It’s always a great experience here. Great ambience and the food is always on point. The service was exceptional, and our server Anastasia was unbelievable. Looking forward to my next visit.
