   We made an early reservation as we had to be at the theater by 7:00…then our train was 45 minutes late. It was Saturday, and I’d noticed the next table was at 8:15 when I made the reservation, but I called and told them our predicament. They graciously agreed to hold the table and be ready to get us in and out for our show—and they were the most efficient at that as any theater district restaurant I’ve ever seen in any city. It seemed the entire staff was aware of our situation, and they were on top of it. We were able to eat at a leisurely enough pace to enjoy our lovely meal despite our short window b/c they seamlessly hit their beats from the start. Such an exceptional staff! But wow, the food! I had the ricotta gnochetti with lobster and mushrooms, and it was beyond delicious. The sauce was buttery without being too rich and flavorful without overpowering the lobster, the pasta was light and tasty—it was delicious and not over-filling which was great, right before the theater. My mom had the branzino which she also loved. It’s the kind of place you’d trust with your most special occasions. Can’t recommend highly enough.

   My friend and I had a fabulous dining experience. Brandon our server was very friendly and helpful, although everyone we encountered was friendly and on point.  we really appreciate that the restaurant was able to make some accommodations to make it easier for my friend with disabilities and they sat us in a nice section where we could be comfortable with her large service animal.  We tried a lot of different things, and my favorites were the unicorn oysters, hamachi crudo, the ricotta gnocchetti with lobster was stand out, and the beeline cocktail. This was a great place to go to have an upscale celebration for a special occasion.

   Excellent cuisine, cocktails, staff and ambience. Our favorite seafood restaurant in Boston! Highly recommend for special occasions, date nights, and pre/post theater district events.

   Some truly outstanding dishes and some inconsistent ones. For instance, the pasta lobster mushroom dish was perfection whereas the sea bass tartare was just satisfactory. When you charge top dollar, all of the dishes should be superb. Somewhat utilitarian ambience which subtly undermines the experience.

    Absolutely brilliant seafood Skate sea bream monkfish oysters. All plated in a low key elegant way excellent service. Wide range of wines with many good values. Lovely deserts We had an early reservation so the noise level was good. Got noisier as time went by. Hence only 4 stars for ambience.
