   Tonight was not my favorite experience. It took almost 25 minutes to get someone to take our drink order.

   First time I had the salmon piccata excellent cooked to perfection side of pasta also cooked to perfection

   Another enjoyable evening at the Ovalon. Drinks, food, and service were excellent. They have an extremely friendly staff.

   Great local Italian Restaurant with a huge bar. Service was quick and welcoming. Food was flavorful and fresh. Drinks were good too. Ample amount of seating and dining space. I’ve lived in the area for 10+ years and I don’t know why I haven’t dined here sooner. Will be a regular from now on.

   We went to celebrate our daughter's recent accomplishment. It's usually a very enjoyable dining experience, but this wasn't because of very poor service. We waited so long for everything! We were seated for 20 minutes before even taking our drink order, then waited and waited for drinks to arrive. We gave our food order immediately, but waited another 30+ minutes for it to be served. My side of mashed potatoes was cold. Our waitress wasn't trying to help at all. She was either standing by the bar chatting with staff, or disappeared out of sight for long stretches of time. She barely checked on us, plus "forgetting" to bring basic things to our table, like sugar with coffee and drink refills. She didn't know, nor offer us, the full dessert options. She was "really busy", but it wasn't even crowded. Then we're given the "we're short staffed" excuse - on a Saturday night. Our server was absolutely terrible. We were really disappointed this time.

   My husband and I ordered veal piccata which was terrible the veal had a bad taste to it and we also shared surf and turf salad which was ridiculously priced as well as not very good meat was tuff and presentation was not great. Such a disappointment as we have been here many many times and have not had bad experiences. Service was poor had to ask several times for drink refills sitting at the table as well as at the bar after. Just a disappointment

   Made reservations for my birthday, small personal dinner with my wife and son. Was hoping for an enjoyable, simple evening with some good food and pleasant environment. Upon entering we walked up to the hostess who was taking an "over the phone order". Okay, not an issue. We waited for about 10 minutes while she was receiving the order, making sure it was all correct and verifying everything with the person ordering. She finishes up the call and seats us quickly. Unfortunately we are sat at a table that has a broken light. (Multiple other tables are open and the lights are working). We use the flashlight on our phone to view our menus because the place has a comfortable but dim look where we were seated. After waiting another 10+ minutes without a server to even stop by to greet us we got up and left. We ended up going to Four Blooms in Drums which was great and service was much much better. For what its worth, if your going to have your hostess take "over the phone orders" you should have the bartender (who is directly next to the hostess cross trained and able to seat your guest) It was very awkward standing there and started the experience off poorly. Topped with sitting with no drinks without even a greeting makes us give it a poor review. BTW the place wasn't overly busy, just poor service.

   The quality and presentation of our meals was amazing. Everything seasoned to perfection. Nothing bland or over seasoned. Service was quick and attentive. This place always outdoes itself with new and interesting selection. Including cocktail selections. A MUST TRY!!

   Our food was excellent tonight. Sautéed crab and the butternut squash risotto were amazing. Our server Karen was great as usual. Carol made fabulous cocktails. Can’t wait to go back.

    We had a seven people in our party and the service and food were absolutely fantastic. Everyone enjoyed the meal and we will certainly go back there again the next time we're in the Scranton area.
