   Food was uniformly excellent and well-timed in presentation; service was pleasant and attentive. Noise level was so high that the entire experience was ruined — we won’t be going back. So sad!

   Perfect place to celebrate a birthday. Balance between the bar setting, the dining room and the food is on point and the hospitality was great. Highly recommend. Manny’s service was excellent as well.

   Wow OWA! That was by far the best sushi I have had in LA in years. Everything we ate was delicious, the service is incredible, the design/decor stunning and the crowd super cool (in the best way). It's accessible and inviting, with lots of different spaces to sit in -- each with their own vibe. We opted for the patio with the beautiful tiny lights strung above and fireplace burning logs which made it so cozy. Let me start by saying Gigi's greeting (the hostess) makes you feel like you're the most special customer of the night and somehow, she makes everyone feel this great. She set the tone for a perfect evening. Manny (our server) was friendly and helped us navigate the menu, making recommendations when asked and they were spot on. Clearly the great attitude and warmth of the staff starts at the top as Chris, the manager, is welcoming, accessible, very present and checks in on everyone, making sure everything is perfect and everyone is happy. The atmosphere is that warm from top to bottom, and the food.....it's fantastic. We had the Kampachi Crudo (the perfect starter) and the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice (beyond!) as appetizers. then we got a Kinney roll (salmon, tuna and much more-- a favorite of mine now), the fresh crab California Roll (so fresh -- best California roll in LA), and the Soul Roll (complex, so many flavors and so delicious (worth the steep price tag on it). Oh, and be sure and get the dessert (we had a sort of matcha tiramisu thing that was unreal). Also, the signature cocktails are stunning and tasty -- totally live up to the mixologist's reputation! I had the Spicy Owl and my friend had the Lychee Love Me (actually we each had two of them and I bet you will too). Can you tell I loved it here? I've told all my friends and now I'm telling you.

    Friendly staff good food, lots of drink options but very bad acoustics and ambiance. Too expensive for the overall quality of the experience.
