   We loved Oxbow!! The happy hour menu for both snacks and drinks, including 50% off bottles of EXCELLENT wine, is next level. The food on the menu was incredible, and great value! Quality was amazing, and you don't always see that with happy hour selections. We had the beef tartare, the cauliflower and brussel sprout salad, the warm olives and the brie and brioche, and we loved them all. ESPECIALLY the salad - we both said it was one of the best salads we've ever had! The ambience is also exactly what you'd expect in a cozy hotel bar. There's a beautiful fireplace that is a focal point, and they displayed photos on their TV of beaches, which was a nice addition and made us dream of warmer temps! The patio also looks like a good time, when the weather improves a bit more. It faces onto Memorial Drive, so you can see the Calgary skyline and the river (once construction is done - which in Calgary, one never knows!)

   What a first class dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The servers were attentive and the food was exquisite. We particularly enjoyed interacting with the chefs when they brought out one of our courses. They were knowledgeable and personable and were happy to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Oxbow! 10/10!

   We had an unforgettable experience at Oxbow. We were celebrating our engagement, and our server, Jirwin, went above and beyond by surprising us with complimentary champagne. It made the evening even more special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and Jirwin’s thoughtful service truly stood out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

   Had a great time celebrating my friend's birthday. Overall, very good experience; food excellent, as was service by Corey, who looked after us. Couple of suggestions; tongs for sugar bowl and for serving the food Teapot a bit too big for one person; that size pot is more suited to coffee; should be a smaller teapot.

   We had the Valentine's day tasting menu and wine pairings. Both were excellently curated. It included Oysters, Halibut Croquette, Beet Tartare, Pan-Roasted Barramundi and Strawberry! Best meal ever at this restaurant. Thank you.

   First of all, the food was outstanding. The chef's selections are thoughtfully organized and meticulously prepared, then presented. Corey was excellent as well - attentive and helpful, making sure we were well cared for during our dinner. The dining room is cozy and comfortable - not a giant industrial chain experience at all...more like visiting a good friend.

   The stress of the staff was stressing us out. Either under staffed or they over booked. Always had to flag someone down for something instead of being served. Some good dishes though!

   Valentines’s day was the first time and a while since my wife and planned a dinner or any type of outing in general. With two kids, a three year old and a six month old, free time is a rarity, dare I say a luxury. We mustered our courage and committed to going out in the frigid weather. Seeing the little one is currently breastfeeding, my wife wanted her to stay with us in any of our future outings. After making dinner plans and babysitting with my family for our son, we found ourselves running fashionably late. We proceeded to make our way there nonetheless hoping that there would be some clemency on our behalf. Sure enough, even after arriving an hour late, the two young ladies a the front inquired as to what can be done. The manager for the evening came and moved some things around and managed our expectations saying that we would be moving to a a table which has an appointment in an hour and 15 mins which was greatly appreciated! From the food to the customer service, the standard was to our expectation. The crew on service for the evening ran a tight ship and made the evening look flawless. The manager, what can I say, she had nerves of Steele coordinating such a busy evening. We will definitely come back, this time alone, to fully appreciate such an establishment! Well done to all

    Oxbow is a beautiful restaurant and the service is friendly and very professional. We had the Valentine's Day menu yesterday, which began with delicious oysters. Alls other dishes were very fine, with the exception of my streak. It was very tough. The staff promptly exchanged it for the fish, which my husband had ordered. It was superb. All in all, this was a lovely evening.
