One of the best meals I’ve ever had in the world and I’ve been to over 40 countries. First time having bouillabaisse and it was beyond amazing! The service was also beyond amazing - in the top 5 that I’ve ever experienced!!

The server was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I sat inside the restaurant side, but it could be noisy if you sit in the restaurant bar area.

The food and server were excellent! Unfortunately there were small gaps or things that could easily have been done better. I had oysters but no "oyster fork" was provided. Also had the bouillabaisse which was excellent with adequate amounts of shell fish but no "crackers" were provided and no small fork to pick the crabmeat and lobster out of the shell.

My adult daughter and I loved everything about the Oyster Bar. The friendly, helpful staff, the energetic atmosphere, and especially the food! We split 1/2 dozen oysters and the bouillabaisse. So good! We had a 9:00 pm reservation at the high top bar, but when we showed up early they got us right in. Thanks for the great experience and we will be back.

We recently visited Tahoe in February for my birthday. I made a reservation via Open Table about a month in advance. When we arrived, there was no host. We advised the chef, Rudy, that we had made a reservation. To which he replied “We’re not taking reservations. Just wait in line.” After about 15 minutes of waiting, the only server working, John, sat us and apologized for the confusion. We were sat. Ordered food and drinks. After about 15 minutes, Security came to our table and told us that if we’re not eating, we needed to leave. We were obviously doing both and it was unnecessary to be harassed while trying to enjoy lunch. Moments later, the very unfriendly chef Rudy decided to also tell us that if we weren’t ordering more food or drinks that we need to leave. So after spending $100 on drinks and appetizers in about 30 minutes we were asked by two different personnel to leave. I wouldn’t recommend and I will never go back. Unpleasant across the board. Rudy needs some guidance on customer service. He was extremely rude and dismissive. Felt sorry for our server John. If I were managing this restaurant, I’d fire him for sure. He obviously doesn’t care about the customers experience or his staff members.

Food was over the top as always Martini 🍸 was good but use bigger glasses !! I’d like those blue cheese olives again next time too Seating was only 7 at the bar !! Kyle was nice and could be a little more friendly but maybe he was too busy !! The new chef was amazing from Atlanta Braves !! Keep her !! Great birthday dinner 🍽. Philip Janet

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at dinner. #1, the food was fantastic and priced midway. Well worth all of it. #2, Fun sitting at the bar watching the food being prepared and the smell of seafood was in the air. #3, fantastic service from everyone who interacted with our meal even the chef. We are already planning our next trip just so we can go again. We had 2 dozen oysters on the half so shell. Shrimp cocktail, steamed clams, and jambalaya. Insanely great meal of the long weekend. Everything was perfect. Not 1 negative comment. Visit was on 2/16/21

We enjoyed their peel and eat shrimp, steamed clams and clam linguini. Everything was tastefully done, and the sauces are delicious. Highly recommended!!!!
