Beautiful setting overlooking the Pacific. Lavender martini and Santa Lucia Pinot Noir very good. Short rib was dry and nothing special. Mussels tasteless. Food is over rated based on the location which is incredible. Will not return - overpriced and not worth it. Much better restaurants in Carmel but without the view. If you’re a foodie it’s not for you. For drinks it’s fine. There was supposed to be live music but none existed. Disappointed as this was an anniversary dinner that turned out to be nothing special.

An incredibly beautiful view over one of California’s most stunning stretches of coastline. Service was wonderful and dinner delicious. A perfect setting for Mother’s Day.

We were underwhelmed with our waiter because we asked if a certain dish (a special) contained garlic (we hoped it did) and he said it did and it did not. We requested a table with a view of the sun setting and although there were plenty of empty tables where we could have watched the sun go down we were seated at a table where we couldn't. And lastly, there was a huge wedding party in the adjoining room which was very loud. The food was fresh and presented very nicely.

Pacific’s Edge is a place I had often passed by but never had the opportunity to experience until now. Having lived in Monterey County for 21 years, I’m grateful to have returned for the weekend and finally enjoyed this incredible spot. I ordered the Skirt Steak and Frites with a side of avocado. The steak was marinated with a slightly sweet glaze, which was nicely balanced by the crisp, well-seasoned fries—an excellent pairing that exceeded expectations. The customer service was exemplary, and the views of Carmel and Big Sur were truly stunning. Considering the location, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing. I’ll certainly make the 3-hour drive again to visit, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an unforgettable breakfast or brunch by the water.
