Paco Tapas brings the essence of Andalusia to Bristol, offering a vibrant tapas experience. Named after chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias’ father, Paco, who is from Seville, the restaurant is deeply rooted in Spanish tradition and family heritage. Located by the Bathurst Basin, Paco Tapas captures the lively spirit of a true Andalusian tapas bar, with dark walls, exposed brick, and sherry barrel tables creating the perfect atmosphere for sharing plates with friends and family.

Our menu features a selection of classic and seasonal tapas dishes made with the finest ingredients, including boquerones, croquetas de jamon, and the signature quail stuffed with sobrasada and dates. Totally overprice, food is alright but extremely expensive. We were there 2 hours for 3 dishes and a dessert and the restaurant was not busy, only another table. I won’t repeat.

Really good food, you definitely get what you pay for here. The staff were attentive and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help. All in all a great experience and one we will be returning too in future.

Not your usual tapas restaurant, a choice between a quirky Al a carte or chefs choice menu, we chose Al a carte, The staff were super friendly and very happy to help explain the menu, which was a great help, fabulous choices of fresh fish, shellfish, meat and vegetables, most of which were served char grilled, including the bread, which was lovely, if I could find a fault, it’s a tad expensive, but that aside, would definitely return, especially in summer as it’s located on the waterfront
