About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Charming
  • Innovative
Pammy’s is a New American restaurant inspired by the feel of an Italian neighborhood trattoria. Perched between Cambridge’s Central and Harvard Squares, Pammy’s is a cozy yet sophisticated neighborhood destination. For husband and wife team Chris and Pam Willis (who live right up the street), Pammy’s is an extension of their living room. They’ve brought together their love of great food, easy hospitality and chic vibes to create a lively space that is welcoming to all looking for a memorable meal. With dishes that lean heavily on Italian flavors but are not restricted by any rules of the cuisine, the food is unpretentious and delicious. A fireplace wrapped in white ceramic, an oversized salvaged communal table designed for side-by-side dining and rich leather banquets are just some of the design elements that make up Pammy’s charm.

We're currently serving a Prix Fixe menu for all reservations. A la carte dining is available for walk-in guests at our bar and in our lounge.

Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Christopher Willis

From the OpenTable editors: A centerpiece tile hearth, rich leather banquettes, and a 14-foot communal table lined with flowers make Pammy’s feel like a good friend’s cozy living room. With an approachable menu of hearty Italian American dishes that could include lasagna bianca with wild onion chutney, wife-and-husband team Pam and Chris Willis have created an inviting space you’ll want to return to again and again.

The best meal in terms of food and service that we have had in seven months living in Boston. The din was nearly unbearable, I wouldn’t return on a Saturday night, but more than that and the reason for four stars rather than five is that we were seated half an hour late for our 7:30 pm reservation. No offer to buy us a drink at the bar, no comped dessert, not any real apology from the waiter (not that it was his particular fault). The hostess’ tepid explanation that “our table was not ready yet” was not sufficient. If they are going to have two seatings they need to make clearer to first seating that there is another one coming. Dinner was nearly $1000, and that part of it kind of rankled.

I remember coming to Pammy’s when the restaurant first opened. It was good then and even better now so many years later. Our dinner last night tucked in the corner by the fireplace was nothing short of perfection. The food, the ambiance, the libations and our serve Dana. Just stellar - thank you.

Outstanding all around from the service to food. Three courses make for the perfect amount of food and I loved the wine pairing. We live some distance away but Sammy's is worth the drive.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant with my partner! The Lasagne Bianca was a standout—absolutely delicious and a true highlight of the evening. My personal favorite, however, was the Lumache, which was perfectly spicy and rich in flavor. The Squid Ink Gnocchi was also an excellent choice, adding a delightful variety to our meal. The food was truly the star of the show! The wine pairing was great too, perfectly complementing each dish. That said, the one downside was the tight spacing. The tables are quite close together, making the small dining area feel a bit suffocating at times. Despite this, the service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Overall, a great spot for food lovers, and we’d definitely return for the incredible dishes—just hoping for a bit more breathing room next time!

Blake, our server for dinner, was amazing. We decided to have an after dinner drink at the bar before moving on to our evening plans…that proved to be a mistake. The bartenders were exceptionally rude; it was an unfortunate end to our otherwise outstanding meal.
