   Food was outstanding. Best steaks. The Dover Sole was awesome. The sides—creamed spinach and potatoes always compliment. Always come here for special dates. Happy Mother’s Day was complete.

   Usually I love Pampas but today was a little different. It was Mother’s Day and when I made the reservation I wasn’t aware it was a buffet only. I probably should have called. We had to wait even with a reservation and had to wait and finally call someone over to get service and water. It was busy but not full. The buffet was nice but the prime rib was barely cooked and looked raw. Luckily our server brought it to the kitchen to be cooked more but it made us feel high maintenance having to ask. Buffets have too much food and are very expensive so they aren’t my favorite. I was a little bummed because I usually love to eat there, but it was way too expensive for what we had.

   What a disappointing experience today at Pampas. We arrived and they sat us and we realize they were serving a buffet instead of their regular menu. No were in their website said this so it was pretty disappointing but wasn’t that big of a deal except we were going there for the steaks and the only steak they had was a prime rib. That was very disappointing because it was not even good. Anyway, we got sat on our table and took a while for a waiter to come to our table. Once the waiter came he looked at us like waiting for us to say something as we were looking at him. You would hope he would welcome you to the restaurant and ask for drinks. After an awkward moment we asked for waters where he finally ask what kind of water and told us that we just needed to get up to go to the buffet. Didn’t offer other drinks or anything. Disappointing for a supposedly high end restaurant. We go to the buffet which looked ok but absolutely not worth $90 per person, Copeland’s has a way better buffet with way more high end options). I grabbed some seafood ceviche what was ok, and some raw oysters and a salad, I get to the table and I see a “worm” walking inside my oyster. Honestly all my hunger went away. We called the waiter he said “well let me take this away”. Not an apologize, not a manager, not nothing. The rest of the table kept eating but I was so disgusted I couldn’t anymore. The rest of the food according to the table was ok, they said the chicken was pretty dried. We also order a couple of drinks, omg the Bloody Mary was absolutely gross, we have never had something so bad, it tasted like it was made with cleaning detergent or something. We asked to take it back. You could also tell it was bad for everyone, pretty much every table around was leaving the Bloody Mary full in their table by the time they paid. Again, not an apologize or nothing. We end up paying over $500 for 3 adults and 3 kids and we will not be coming back. Extremely disappointing.

   We went for the Mother’s Day brunch and would not do it again. The service was slow. We got drinks (only water) long after we had leisurely helped ourselves to the buffet. I had to ask for any other beverages. He was very nice and although he had a helper it was slow to come. The food was so-so for such a price. Salmon was overcooked. Beef steamship was tough. There was an omelet station but no one to ever fix omelets the entire time we were there.

   Went for Mother's Day brunch. Food was excellent, had wonderful service and was seated prior to reservation time. My entire party enjoyed the total experience. Will definitely return for normal menu soon.

   Disappointing Mother’s Day Lunch at Pampas We visited Pampas today for a special Mother’s Day lunch, hoping for a memorable experience, but unfortunately, we left very disappointed. The restaurant was offering a buffet lunch, which we were not being made aware before we reached the restaurant, and the quality of the food did not meet expectations. Many of the dishes lacked flavor, and several items tasted stale or overcooked. The variety was limited for a buffet, and the presentation didn’t reflect the premium pricing or the occasion. For such a special day, we were hoping for something more thoughtful and well-prepared. The service was decent, and the staff were polite, but it couldn’t make up for the subpar food. Sadly, this wasn’t the experience we were hoping for on a day meant to celebrate.

   We came to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and Pampas did not disappoint! They had live music, great drinks and delicious food. Also the service was top tier and they personalized a dessert for us

   Pampas is and continues to be our favorite restaurant in the Atlanta Metro area. The service and food are always spectacular. We have tried many other establishments but we keep coming back to Pampas and are never disappointed!

    The service was not good. When they were around you they were good but we would wait for a while before the servers would come just for a drink. Got there at 6:30 and dinner finally came out at 8:15. Three of us went out for mother's day. 2 of the 3 dishes were sent back as the steaks were way over cooked. So instead of the 3 of us eating we went and only 1 of us ate. Not the experience we were looking for. They removed the 2 dishes from the bill but quite frankly they should have comped the entire thing because we didn't go to watch 1 person eat. We didn't want it redone as we didn't have another 2 hours to wait for a steak to be cooked and then we would have ended up with 1 eating first and the. The other 2 eating. Again we went to eat together as a family not in shifts. I asked my son how his steak was and he said "it was ok, nothing to write home about".
