   We had a terrible dining experience at Pampas. The food was under seasoned and poorly cooked. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but the quality of the food is no longer comparable to Bask, Oak or even Stoney River. $350 for two people and we left most of the food uneaten. Will not return.

   Atlanta’s hidden gem! Comparable to New York’s finest. Wife got all dolled up which made it even better.

   It had been several years since we visited Pampas and we decided to celebrate our anniversary there. The ceviche appetizer had a fishy taste and we considered sending it back. My husband got a double cut filet and said it was delicious. I got the sesame crusted tuna with ponzu sauce. What I got did not have sesame or ponzu and it was pretty awful. The staff was gracious in replacing my meal with a crab cake (which was delicious). Our side was a lobster risotto which was the special of the day. My husband and I each had a bite and were very disappointed. The texture was pasty and the risotto has no flavor. The service for the meal was excellent. But the food was disappointing, especially at the high price that we paid.

   Food was outstanding. Best steaks. The Dover Sole was awesome. The sides—creamed spinach and potatoes always compliment. Always come here for special dates. Happy Mother’s Day was complete.

    Usually I love Pampas but today was a little different. It was Mother’s Day and when I made the reservation I wasn’t aware it was a buffet only. I probably should have called. We had to wait even with a reservation and had to wait and finally call someone over to get service and water. It was busy but not full. The buffet was nice but the prime rib was barely cooked and looked raw. Luckily our server brought it to the kitchen to be cooked more but it made us feel high maintenance having to ask. Buffets have too much food and are very expensive so they aren’t my favorite. I was a little bummed because I usually love to eat there, but it was way too expensive for what we had.
