Unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience for us. None of these were major issues, hence the solid rating, but expectations are a bit elevated when you’re paying about $100 per person. + Service was slow and had minor mistakes + One drink order was missing a specific request + Two bottles of wine on the wine list were not available (the second was specifically recommended) + Two drink orders were super slow + The snow crab was partially frozen + One steak was ordered med rare and came out med well + The gravy on the ribeye should be underneath - you can’t see the steak so you sometimes end up eating the fat or gristle. So, not entirely thrilled. On the plus side, the flavors on every dish were pretty great and service seemed to get progressively better as the evening progressed.

Food is not great and over priced for the quality The bar is something you would see on the TV Bar Rescue show. They don’t have a real bar tender. The same guy that was supposed to tend bar was also assigned table on the restaurant floor to serve! Chef was behind bar! Do not waste your money or reservation.

Wonderful girls dinner on a Friday night with reservation. The $55 three course meal is a great deal! Had snow crab legs, seafood cioppino and ube cheesecake for one set and watermelon tataki, seafood risotto and apple pie Mille fuille for the other. Had a special 20% odd bottles of wine! The main courses were very flavorful but overstated. Otherwise the food was beautiful and delicious. Good ambiance. Not too busy on a Friday.

Delicious as always and I enjoyed the Mussels and Beef Kofta on the rooftop watching the Women’s NCAA Final Four games.

This is my second time here and if I lived in Greensboro I would eat here weekly. We travel extensively and the food at Pangaea top anything we’ve had even internationally. The staff is wonderful and engaging and very knowledgeable about the origins of the food they serve and the wine list… which is also pretty great. I give it my highest rating!

Our first experience at Pangea was amazing! The small plates were creative and presentation was fantastic! The wine list is extensive and pairs well what is truly a globally inspired menu. Every plate was unique with outstanding flavor. Great to see great tapas-style restaurants re-emerging in Greensboro! Our waiter Alex was fantastic with a great personality and excellent recommendations. The owner stopped by several times to check on us and added a personal touch, giving us some history on the restaurant. Looking forward to going back!

10/10 Experience – Truly Unforgettable! I genuinely wish I could give it more than 5 stars—this was a 10-star experience from start to finish. Every dish was perfectly crafted with attention to flavor, presentation, and quality. The service was warm, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. For the first time ever at a restaurant, I completely finished my meal—every bite was that good. The ambiance was just right for a relaxed yet elevated evening with my partner. From the moment we walked in to the final course, everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a next-level dining experience. I will absolutely be returning!

My wife and I were in the mood for something new and a little adventurous. We came across Pangaea and decided to give it a try. ATMOSHPERE: It has a chill vibe and clean, rustic atmosphere that we found very relaxing. (Can't wait for the rooftop to open!) If you're a bourbon fan, you'll be impressed with the selection. The cocktail menu offers something for everyone. I had the Alex Fashion (Old Fashion smoke infused and smooth,). My wife enjoyed a delicious Spanish red wine. SERVICE: The service was outstanding. Alex, the bartender and, (you guessed it), the namesake of the Old Fashion, was super knowledgeable and friendly. We also spoke with Juan (owner), who patiently shared the story of Pangaea. Our server, Emily, was a delight too. FOOD: Outstanding! We like variety and trying things from all over the world. It's especially nice when you can try a variety of things without committing to a full meal by sampling the starters and small plates. We selected the savory Sweet Plantain Gnocchi fusion with red, chorizo piperade sauce (Basque country), Beef Kofta (Mediterranean) on naan bread with a tangy, tzatziki-like yogurt sauce, Papas Bravas with a creamy, red sauce, and the Green Coconut Curry Pork Tenderloin - a Thai inspired dish of sliced tenderloin (cuts with a fork) with a creamy sauce with just the right amount of heat and side of coconut rice. Loved it all!! Can't wait to bring our friends next month.

The restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was moody, warm, and upscale. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiling faces and courteous natures. Our server, Emily, was sweet and very attentive. The owner and manager were there, cordial, and diving right in to help their staff whenever needed. The best part was the food offerings. For our starters, we tried the sweet plantain gnocchi, the mussels, the chicken wings, and the scallops. For our small plates, we ordered the fish tacos and the tuna bites. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT! If there was anything left on a plate., it was because we were too full. This place gets five stars all the way.
