   Was told we couldn’t get dessert and to chug our half bottle of wine because the private party who booked the whole restaurant arrived 30 mins early. Us along with 4 other tables were given the boot. No notice. Just the check when we finished our entree.

   It is an authentically old world Italian trattoria. It has a gentile quality and the menu concentrates on flavor and excellence rather than trendiness. No, it’s not a red sauce kind of place. It’s just so much more.

   Paola’s has been a family favorite for over 30 years. The mozzarella and Bolognese and carciofi can’t be beat. The boss nova music is lovely, but at a good level so one can easily hear conversations. Service is always gracious and attentive . The combination of the forgoing makes for a warm and delightful evening every time.

   We loved our dining experience. Our waiter was fantastic. We waited a little while for our second course and should have asked them to fire our children's food so they could eat as soon as it their meals were ready. High quality, delicious food and ambience. I highly recommend.
