   Both the buffet dinner and buffet breakfast provided fantastic value. Good selection, well-prepared and presented. However, despite having buffet dinner the night before and buffet breakfast the morning after (over $200!) the person attending the beverage counter, Karen, baulked at our request for a pitcher of ice/ice water. She offered a single plastic cup of ice. There are three spouts for free cold water, what is ice but frozen water? Seemed unnecessarily draconian. Even more so since we paid for farmstay too. These are the kinds of things people take away from these experiences, sadly. So you saved Paradise Country a pitcher of ice, at the cost of a customer’s experience. Disappointing.

   We stayed in the accomodation it was 5 star, so clean absolutely beautiful. Staff were amazing friendly and helpful. The kids had a great time. I saw some bad reviews but these people need to understand this is a country retreat not a 6 star hotel. The room/tent we received was 5 star definitely. The food is good it’s not chef amazing but $80 for 4 of us for dinner at the buffet is I think very cheap. Thank you would definitely stay again, private, peaceful and not overcrowded. We stayed January 2024

   When we arrived 45mins before closing time they had hardly any food left, and still charged us full price. What remnants of food we had were dry, old and tasteless. So disappointing and will never return. We have been there once before and even thought it was average at best, but wanted to give it another try.

   It’s a great spot away from everything. The behind counter staff were a little rude and could work on customer service. Nice selections of foods great for kids.

   There is no parking on site. My ill mother had to walk quite a distance to a car park. The service staff were abrupt to the edge of being rude apart from a young gentleman at the bar who was lovely. The food was pretty abysmal with no real choice and the food that was there quite dry and tasteless. The only saving grace really was watching the marmosets in the enclosure at the side of the restaurant. Even though the price was reasonable I wouldn't consider returning to this restaurant. I would suggest if wanting to open the restaurant to the public, make it more accessible and have staff that are wanting to be there and give welcoming service.

   When advising supervisor of a price discrepancy on their website the answer and attitude wasn’t ideal, being short and rude, not even apologized for their mistake.

   The parking was not convenient for us costumer for restaurant only. The distance we walked was bit far from the restaurant. We were advised to park outside the gate even if the farm stay parking was not that full. Staff didn’t gave a consideration to us even if she saw that we got a 7 year old kid. With this situation we will appreciate if the staff was considerate. Too strict rules. We went home disappointed because of the parking.

    We arrived expecting a buffet, and were politely told by the host it was switched to al a carte. We thought we’d be disappointed but the food and service were so great! The steak was delicious and cooked sooo well, the service was lovely. We attended on Dec 16, 2024 in case you want to give the chef and host some major props!!
