   Very happy to have found Paris Bar as a pre Carnegie and City Center choice. The staff and service were terrific. We were seated in the back room which was quiet. You could actually have a conversation! Thank you! Try the duck and the lamb. Both excellent. Great martinis. Caesar salad was good but too big. Escargot were very good. Apple tart was lovely. The price is commensurate with the neighborhood, and worth it especially to be able to converse.

   Despite telling our server that we had to leave by 7:20, the main courses didn't arrive until 7:15 resulting in an inability to finish our meal.

   Walking in to this restaurant really does make you feel you are in Paris. It's really beautifully decorated. Sadly the food reminded you that you are NOT in Paris. The menu promises things like French onion soup and braised leeks, but neither are anything like their French counterparts. The excellent service, however, somewhat makes up for this disappointing culinary experience.

   Breakfast hopeful after Norma’s closed . Mediocre. Even a poor egg white omelet. Table for 2 that did not even fit two plates plus toast plate.
