Would never come back. Drinks were bad, food was bad. I can see why this place was completely empty on a Saturday.

I made a reservation for today at noon. I waited in front of the restaurant for 20 minutes when I finally got a call from the owner. He said there was a problem with the gas and they wouldn’t open until this evening. 🥴. This is the 2nd time this had happened. This was to be a pre-Xmas family gathering and finding a date that everyone was free took weeks. Most of us will be away for the holiday and this was the only date we were free. 🥴🥴👎🏾👎🏾 Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone

Food quality was terrible and not as advertised. Empty restaurant. We were literally the only table. Two out of our four orders were incorrect. Would never return.

Mediocre is really the best way I could describe it. The gumbo was bland. The shrimp and grits tasted like nothing but the hot sauce they were drowned in. The mac and cheese was solid though. The bloody Mary tasted like tomato soup and the sazerac tasted like cough medicine. If you're going to do NOLA inspired food, you should at least try harder.

It was quiet and comfortable. I ordered the gumbo (large) and my boyfriend ordered the crabcakes and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Definitely would recommend ordering a small for the gumbo because the large was too much even for two people. Service was great and our waiter was very attentive

It's really a bar with some food, not a restaurant with drinks. It has a very limited menu, and the food was just average.

Overall it was a nice experience. We purchased a Pulsd voucher, and had looked online to check out the menu. When we got there on a Sunday early evening, we realized that the reservation was not necessary. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant. This meant that our service from the bartender was great and very attentive. However, we were disappointed to find that a lot of the menu items have been taken off and the menu had been reduced to a “bar menu“. This left us with limited choices and perhaps not all of the food that we were excited about. Bartender brought us some complementary potato wedges because I was a vegetarian and there was limited menu items available for me. I imagine the atmosphere would’ve been nice during a busier time. The mood of the space was chill, and we enjoyed our time there, even though it was sort of awkward being the only people there. Bummed that the menu had changed, but still enjoyed the food that we did get.
