   ワイキキ店含め4度目でしたが…最初が良かっただけに段々とがっかりです。 お店の雰囲気がカジュアルになったのに対応は真逆な感じなのが気になりました。 まあまあ美味しいのですが感動が無いのは 雰囲気が悪いので気分が乗らないからだと思います ただ、女性スタッフは気の毒なくらいに頑張っていました。それも気になりお料理に集中できませんでした

   おいしくないし、味付け濃いすぎ　喉渇いて困った 値段は普通だし、もう行く必要はないかな。　シェフもすごく無愛想で最悪

   Best fine dining restaurant in Hawaii. Period. Book it now before it fills up completely. Much more convenient location than Waikiki.

   Perhaps our less superlative experience was colored by our expectation after the mind-blowing experience we had five years ago at their Waikiki location. The menu seems like it has been modified/downgraded significantly for its Kaka’ako customer base. Also there’s less “kitchen theater” with food being prepped right in front of you, as the seating counter was much farther away from the prep area. Some of the 10 dishes were excellent (kampachi, crispy chicken, and steak), but others were dissapointing. Wait staff was fine, but Chef didn’t interact with customers at all. We told them we were celebrating an anniversary and there was no fanfare, despite two other parties having birthday plates. Sorry, it’s the little touches also. Hope they do well, as the restaurant has been open only a few weeks now. (There’s still no directory sign for their location at Salt in the old Hank’s Hot Dog space). We know what Chef Yamanaka is capable of.
