Pasta da Pulcinella strives to maintain a comfortable, cozy venue with cuisine that is unmatched in quality and care. This small, independent, quintessentially Italian restaurant embraces a unique clientele all looking for a place to eat, drink, relax, and, on occasion, order one more bottle of Chianti. Whether it’s a young couple or a group event, theater patrons or traveling business persons, everyone basks in the romantic charm of our little yellow house hidden in the shadow of skyscrapers.

                                            Date night for two people who rarely get out together. We were off to see a show after dinner. It was not our first time there, but it's been a while since we were last there. The service was good. Our waiter was jovial. The food was not so great. We misunderstood the ingredients in the house salad (which, btw, are just greens with balsamic vinagrette), so when we saw just greens, we asked for tomatoes that never came. The entrees were, sadly, underwhelming. We had to make it to our show, so we left quickly, but we will probably not go back.

                                            I loved Pasta da Pulcinella. It’s cozy, warm, elegant and charming. The food is wonderful and the service is great. I particularly enjoyed the Mushroom Ravioli. Everything about the evening was wonderful. The valet is friendly and respectful. The host was warm and inviting. Our server, Paul took great care of us. I will definitely repeat. Good job.

                                            Pretty much the top 3 worst food and service experiences I’ve had - bland food, no bread was brought to the table (only our table - all other tables around us got it), and the server was in a huge rush! Food ordered without mushrooms came with mushrooms. The whole experience felt off, and overpriced for the subpar service and worse food. VERY disappointed with the misleading reviews and I will definitely stay away and advise others to do the same.

Regarding the bread, it is available upon request and does not come automatically. The dish you ordered, Pizzocheri coi Rapini, is one of our signature offerings. However, altering the dish—such as omitting the mushrooms, which are a key component—can significantly impact its overall flavor and balance. This may have contributed to the off taste you described.                                             This was our first time at the new location. The ambience and vibe felt very much like the old place. The food was delicious as before and had an excellent price point. Our server is Isabella was wonderful. We will definitely be back many times.
