   What a delightful early dinner experience. We were looking for a simple pre-theatre dinner and were so glad we chose Paul's Landing. The restaurant is inside the Vinoy which is a delight in itself. The restaurant is light, bright and welcoming. We were seated at a table that perfectly matched our request in the reservation. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water views are wonderful. Our server Matthew arrived within minutes to provide menus, take drink requests and explain the specials. Our order arrived freshly prepared to order and every bite was delicious. And Matthew our server added to our enjoyment thanks to his friendly, professional and attentive service We will certainly be returning. Thank you

   Lovely, casual but cool environment with wonderful staff. Food however was disappointing - fish was undercooked, salad was overdressed and the lettuce was drippy.

   2nd time coming here on trip. Watched Christmas boat parade outside. The food is good at a reasonable price and atmosphere is great and we had a very nice waitress who was very helpful.

   Everyone was at bar so had dining room to ourselves. It is a nice Room with quality fabric On chairs and benches and big colorful mural along with high ceilings. It was night but could see christmas tree lit Across bay but bay probably more interesting during the day. Prime rib french dip was good and generously meaty and truffle Fries very good. The watermelon salad with tomatoes and feta was unusual but tasty but i think we expected some greens with it but it was just watermelon, tomatoes, feta, pine nuts and onions and we didn’t really want the onion. The server brought extra feta, cocktails were well made and tasted good but small with too much ice. Server was fine snd brought everything promptly.

   I reserved an outdoor space to accommodate 10-12 people for a birthday gathering. On the day of I came by the restaurant early in the afternoon to check on the area that they planning to have us. They asked for my preference and we agrees on a corner spot. I asked that they pull the outdoor seatings together so that when my guests arrived they could able to lounge together. I informed the restaurant that we will be having a light eating and drinks but not a sit-down dinner. When I arrived at around 6:45pm the restaurant was so quiet, there was no background music. I can see that they did not put efforts to accommodate us. The seatings were at exact same spot, not one chair have moved. I was very disappointed. My husband and I are a big fan of Vinoy. We hosted our company holidays party here many times as well as other company’s related events (not at Paul’s landing). My husband and I would come for afternoon cocktail on Sundays. We love it and been telling everyone about how beautiful and wonderful the service was at the Vinoy. I can’t say the same after last night.

   Great location in the Vinoy with nice views of boats and marina. Food was ok but shrimp (3) and grits was closer to soup. Valet parking was expensive , $12 for 1st hour and then another $12 for the 2nd hour, so still $12 even with restaurant discount since you’re not likely to get out in less than an hour. Very noisy inside if there are more than 2 large parties of 6 so best to dine outside weather permitting.

    The seafood tower for two was terrible. The crab and lobster seem old. The lobster stuck to the shell when it should have easily separated.
