   We had a wonderful dinner but were seated 30-40 minutes past our reservation time. After that we had such a kind waiter but our drinks didn’t arrive until after our dinner and one entree was forgotten. It was just very slow service. We also had to stand at the front for a long time waiting even though we had a reservation and my sister is very pregnant. Food was still 10/10 and we’ve eaten here for years and this was the first time we’ve ever had bad service.

   Our server was excellent! Only issue was Perla’s hadn’t received lobster delivery so none of us able to enjoy the amazing lobster rolls.

   Absolutely incredible food, great portions for the price, and wonderful service. Everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters are so amazing, and my partner said the scallops were the best he’s ever had. 10/10

   I had a wonderful lunch there today with my daughter. We had the fried oysters, Seafood Gumbo and Grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich. For drinks, we had Frosés. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

   I have been a regular at Perla’s for over a decade, and recently came to realize that there is no changing station in the bathrooms. Parents are forced to change their baby’s diaper at the sink while other patrons wash their hands - it is an uncomfortable experience for the child, the parents, and other guests. Not only is it incredibly disappointing that Perla’s has decided not to accommodate parents (because failing to offer changing tables in the restrooms is a decision), but it is also not at all in line with the quality of dining experience their customers expect, nor the price point they would like their customers to pay for such an experience.

    We had a wonderful dinner at Perla‘s. The food, the atmosphere. (we sat on the patio. It was a gorgeous night.) and of course, the amazing service. Perla is one of my favorite spots in Austin, I can’t wait until next time. The burger is amazing, I love the wedge salad with crab, last night we had the scallops with pea risotto and of course the french fries are always a must. Thank you!
