   The hostess was very good and gave us an excellent table. The waiter was polite and reasonably efficient. The big negative was what we went there for -the food. Our New York strip was terribly oversalted and it had a trace of flavor enhancers. My lobster bisque was served without, lobster morsel of lobster in it. I expected a lot more from the cuisine at such a high priced restaurant. I am terribly disappointed since the food was what we went there for. I will share this experience with my friends and neighbors.

   This is the 1st time we have been in Pawleys Island since the summer after the pandemic. Perrone's has always been one of our favorite restaurants but was struggling with staffing issues. We're very pleased to see Perrones's survived and is even better than before. We arrived a little early and took a seat at the bar. Our bartender was pleasant and mixed a great Mojito and Manhattan. We were seated on time and Kelly our waiter greeted us. We ordered 6 North Carolina oysters which were very tasty. For appetizers we shared the smoked trout dip and the escargot. Both were delicious. Terri had the salmon and was impressed with the presentation and the mild taste of the salmon in contrast to the sides. I enjoyed the duck breast which was perfectly tender and extremely flavorful. No room for desert although Kelly tried hard to get us to take a desert home. We will be back before we head back to Ohio for spring and summer and hope to become regular patrons when we relocate to Pawleys Island next fall. If you haven't tried Perrone's it's worth every penny. They serve unique exciting food that is miles different than the other restaurants in the area.

   Husband had the delicious elk, and my brother had the lamb bolngnese which he stated was good. I had the filet mignon which was just ok for the price. I have had better less expensive filet elsewhere. Made reservations a month in advance and was seated below the AC. I had to ask to have them turn it off at periods. Menu is staid and needs to be updated.

   Warm welcome as you enter. Excellent service. Outstanding grouper dinner with delicious lemony sauce. Bacon mac & cheese was also delicious. Great for a special dinner for two.

    This was our first visit but definitely, not the last. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were awesome. Loved the burrata and the escargot as appetizers. The duck and the Wagyu A5 filet were outstanding and the cocktails were creative. Highly recommend Perrone's.
