The food was meager in quantity and had nothing special about it. All the food was over-priced for what small portions there were. In particular, the "snack" PETITE AIOLI was $18 and had just 3 pearl-sized oysters and 6 steamed mussels of little taste. The BLACK TRUMPET MUSHROOM RISOTTO @ $19 was smaller thasn a small bowl of oatmeal with no flavoring of real interest. The POULET A L’ORANGE @ $30 had a very small confit chicken leg that my wife was able to eat in about 6 bites total. What a disappointing experience, especially since we had such a good one just a year ago.

it was our first time at Petite Cerise and we loved it. Delicious food, cocktails and wine at a relatively reasonable price and a really nice manager and server. delighted to hear it's open for breakfast and brunch too! This is our new go-to restaurant downtown...

Just a delight. Everything, from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, was top notch. The meal was perfectly timed, and each item was exquisite. Compliments to the team there, and Maura in particular. We’ll be back.

Excellent quality and value nouveau French cuisine. 4-course fixed price menu is the way to go. Superb snacks and appetizers for first 2 courses. Small demerits for entrees since lobster thermidor was small and lacked a veggie (it did have fries) and since beef bourgignon only had carrots, mashed potatoes and 1 onion. But beef was plentiful and flavorful. Dessert to share was excellent. 2 sparkling bottles of water were gratis, a welcome surprise. Excellent value and great service. Sound level was high due to sound system and diners seated too close together; easily remedied by spreading diners out over plentiful tables.

Seemed really understaffed. Food was incredible. 10/10. But We spent most of the dinner without water or able to order more drinks and without seeing our waiter. The drinks took a ton of time. Seemed like just one bartender and a bar back for the whole restaurant. We felt bad trying to flag people down for water or another round. Multiple courses and empty glasses that were already consumed sat on the table for a while. Staff was running, CrossFit style, up and down the stairs. Generally seemed frantic. While the pre-fix might be a deal, it seemed like we lost our waiter at the moment we put in all of our order. To be fair, our waiter seemed to be one of two people who worked the whole bottom floor. The food though was incredible. But incredibly disappointing service. I’d tell you to sit at the bar but I’d hate to give the bartender more work.

We went for lunch when our daughter visited from out of town. The breakfast sandwich was very good, although a bit sloppy to eat because there was so much in it. The galette was also very nice, with a good amount of filling. The frites were nice, and went well with the accompanying mayo. The room was quiet, although there may have been fewer people there today than usual, because of the expected snow. Service was well above ordinary.
