A great evening of superb food (monkfish in a lobster sauce and the pork dish preceded by grilled oysters, scallops and the goat cheese mushroom tart). Wonderful blend of flavors. Great bartenders and wait staff. Highly recommend. Truely the best new restaurant of the year!

Food was amazing. Service was great. We are long time fans of Vie and Chef Virant and were not disappointed with this new venture. Seating up front was cozy and a little loud but smells and sights from the kitchen were amazing. It is on the pricey side for a night out in the burbs but absolutely worth it.

Petit Vie is a gem. You feel special just by walking through the door. We had the Tourtons du Champsaur and the Oeufs Mimosa as apps. Just delicious. Then we had the Monkfish and Beef Bourguignon as our mains. Both of those were perfection. The cocktails were also delicious. Our server was Marina and she was a delight. All in all a perfect evening.

A lovely "little" place that gives a taste of France here in our own back yard in Western Springs. We ordered the foie gras mouse that was so delicious and such a reminder of France's best restaurants. Then we had the Salade d' Endive with the Roquefort cheese that just exploded on your palate. My wife had the puff pastry squash entree with mashed potatoes that she really enjoyed. Our waiter strongly suggested the Beef Bourguignon special that I went with and was sooo glad I did. Just outstanding! The flavors were popping in my mouth! So delicious but we couldn't finish either of our dishes and brought some home. Great wine selection as well.

Every time we dine at Petite Vie we have an amazing experience. Last night was no exception. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant and wish that we had something similar in Naperville! This is our go-to restaurant whenever we have the time to travel a little further for dinner.
