   I made a reservation at P.F. Chang’s over a week in advance for Valentine’s Day, expecting a well-managed dining experience. Upon arrival, it was clear the restaurant had severely overbooked, with wait times extending until nearly closing. There were no apologies, no efforts to accommodate guests, and the staff was noticeably unprofessional and dismissive. The environment was chaotic, with guests packed into the entrance, pushing and stepping on others just to get inside. The lack of organization and customer service was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this location to anyone seeking a well-run dining experience.

   They shouldn’t take reservations for holidays if they can’t accommodate them. They were over an hour behind on Valentine’s Day, and the bar was overwhelmed leading to slow service and rude behavior (though not directed at me personally). Drinks took over 20 minutes to arrive, and we weren’t seated until well over an hour past our reservation time. On a regular day, though, I love this place. The food is great, and the atmosphere is enjoyable.

   I made reservations for 7:00pm a week ahead of time. When we (a 2 person party) arrived, the host team could not find the reservation. Then they asked if it was made through Open Table. When I said yes, they said they didn't like Open Table, as the reservations are on a different screen. I believe we were then placed at the bottom of the list, despite reservations. We waited 40 minutes to be sat. We were quickly ready to order drinks and food, but after doing so, the drinks took 20 minutes even though 3 bartenders were working. A table that sat down 10-15 minutes after us got their food and drinks first. We ordered another 2 drinks while waiting for food. When the food arrived, the appetizer and both meals came out at the same time. My wife's food was cold, but we didn't dare mention it at the risk of waiting another 30-40 minutes. We finished eating and were still waiting for the drinks, so we cancelled them from the order. Overall the experience was pretty terrible. The staff seemed disorganized, the table was sticky, the waits were incredibly long even for the occasion, and the fact that our reservation was entirely disregarded was very frustrating. We will not be going back.

   As it was Valentine's day, the restaurant was very busy. There apparently some kind of issue with my reservation made through OpenTable. Fortunately, when I politely brought it to their attention, they seated us at the next available table. The entrees were good as always, service was a little slow, but again it was a very busy night. The only disappointment was dessert. My wife and I like key lime pie. What we received was of poor quality and pleated poorly. I think the server was embarrassed to serve it, as she immediately took it off or our bill without us saying a word. I will certainly go there again for entrees, but not on such a busy night.

   We enjoy dining at a themed restaurant. Even though we had a reservation in the dining room, we love sitting at the bar. There happened to be some seats available.  We noticed new menus and a different look behind the bar.  Very tastefully done. The food was an excellent value at a different price point. They were out of a few things we ordered so that was disappointing. PF Chang’s is nestled in the Vanderbilt area, so it appeals to many . We will go back.

   Dear PF Chang’s Management Team, I have been a loyal customer of PF Chang’s for many years, dining at locations across the country, including Las Vegas, Richmond, and Nashville. Unfortunately, my recent experience at your Nashville location left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the state of service and management at this establishment. Our server, whose name we were not informed of, appeared to be completely unprepared for the responsibilities of her role. She lacked knowledge about the menu, including beer and alcohol options, and it seemed that neither the bartenders nor the managers on duty were equipped to support her adequately. It was clear she had not received proper training, and I genuinely felt bad for her being put in such a challenging position without the necessary preparation. While I do not fault the server herself—she was clearly trying her best—the lack of training and support falls squarely on management. The post-COVID era has undeniably posed challenges for the service industry, but strong and professional leadership is more critical now than ever. Unfortunately, what I witnessed at your Nashville location was a glaring lack of experience, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in management. This approach may yield short-term gains, but in the long run, it damages the reputation and customer trust that PF Chang’s has built over the years. I hope this feedback serves as a wake-up call to reassess your hiring, training, and managerial processes. Your staff deserve the tools and support to succeed, and your customers deserve the quality of service synonymous with the PF Chang’s brand. I sincerely hope to see improvements at this location and would appreciate any updates on steps you are taking to address these issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter.    The food was re-warmed, not fresh. The dish I’ve had many times was lacking in sauce and flavor. The fried rice was gummy! The service was only fair. A request was made and not brought to the table until we were finished. First time I’ve ever eaten here that I didn’t take home leftovers—and I had plenty left over. The restaurant was not crowded at 6:00 pm so that should have been a clue, too.

    PF Chang’s has reinvented itself. The new menu has so many good options and the quality of the food is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and engaged. They also have managed to keep the cost reasonable that has been such a challenge the last few years.
