   The food was great, only a few minor quirks kept this from being a five-star review. The starter pancake was really tasty, but was served with rice paper to eat it with. The way that it was served there was no easy way to get it into the rice paper! We had chopsticks and a knife to cut the pancake. Honestly it would have been much easier to eat just with a normal knife and fork. Service was friendly and attentive but perhaps too attentive... our young waitress asked us if we had any allergies three times! Nothing that spoilt our experience, but just a few oddities that kept me from thinking it was the perfect dining experience! ☺️ It was quiet when we arrived early in the evening (6.15pm) but heaving by the time we left about 7.45pm. The student crowd made it lively but loud.

   We visited Pho Cambridge to celebrate a birthday and it was great. The team struck the perfect balance of being attentive without overdoing it - if you know what I mean. Good selection of food. I’d definitely recommend sharing starters. Personal favourites were the Beef Betel and the Chicken and Shrimp Cơm Chiên if you like some spice. We also had our dog with us and the staff were really accommodating. Brought him a bowl of water as well which was a nice touch.

   Super tasty Pho - we went for the pho house, full of flavour and generous portions. Tried the mint, apple and ginger juice which was really refreshing. It was very busy, but we got served quickly

   They do not serve real Vietnamese cuisine, but rather a westernised version with too much salt and sugar added. Our waitress didn’t even know how to pronounce pho (it rhymes with “fur”). The rice paper for the rolls was served unprepared and still in its plastic packaging. It is supposed to be soaked in warm water before eating.

   Only thing that prevented 5 stars was the restaurant felt a bit grimy. Everything else was great. A deep clean would improve the place immensely.

   Family meal after seeing the Panto and it was perfect! We all lived what we ate. The only thing that made it tricky for us is we had to go up a lot stairs with my very old, disabled mum. But we managed. A lovely evening out!

   The food and atmosphere were great. We were sat upstairs but the service team up there seemed to be incredibly slow - we had to ask to order drinks and chase when our main courses would be coming. We chose Pho as a quick meal before we had concert tickets at the Corn Exchange, but after an hour and a half we were still eating our main courses and had to ask for the bill while we were still eating. It wax such a shame especially as friends sitting downstairs said the service there was much quicker. We’ll definitely be back but probably not before a gig again.

    The food was excellent. my wife had the pho (as usual!) and I had a spicy curry, we both really enjoyed our meals. The staff were all very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Additionally my wife is gluten intolerant, and Pho is exceptional in providing a 95% gluten free menu. Also the staff were assiduous in enquiring about food allergies prior to ordering.
