   Pho stores in Edinburgh at St James Quarter and Lothian Road are both consistent in their customer work and quality of the food. I've been to both branches and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful, B and ice never had an issue with whatever I order. The food is always good and fresh and hits the spot. I always have a hard time choosing between the pho, summer rolls and the stir fry Chinese leaf and despite ordering all three being too much for me, I can't but but order two sides/starters with a main anyway. I also appreciate how they separate the soup from the noodles when you order takeaway so the noodles don't get soggy in transit line they do in Hong Kong

   Waited 30 minutes for drinks to arrive and had to ask them again to bring them. Table was broken but we didn’t want to move as the service was so bad we thought they’d mess up the order if we moved. The servers were polite, just extremely slow and when I tried to catch their attention they all seemed oblivious to the customers the entire time. The restaurant was over half empty most of the time because they were taking so long to clean the tables for the long queue of people waiting outside. Food was good but have been to other branches where the experience was much better.

   Gluten free paradise. I order the gf beef brisket pho and the banana fritters with vegan choc ice cream. Heaven! Will come again.

   Drinks were very delayed due to technical bar issues. Food was very slow and service was poor. Charged a service charge without asked. Won’t be back

   The wait to be served was long despite arriving at opening time. We also had to wait over an hour for our main course and when it arrived it was cold. Disappointed today as previous experience was not like this. Perhaps just a bad day.

   We were a group of five on Saturday night. While we enjoyed the meal, we were really shocked at how poor the service was, from start to finish. We had to get the waiting staff’s attention at every single course, including to order some tap water when we arrived as we had been sitting unattended for over 10 minutes. The restaurant wasn’t full or particularly busy, it was actually quite quiet. There were 4 staff on the floor which was plenty to cover all the tables there but it was as though they were avoiding looking at any of their customers! Two of them were scrolling on their phones too which was really frustrating when our table really needed cleared. Throughout the two course meal (we were there nearly 3 hours!) we only managed to catch a member of staff for help when they were finished serving another table and moved passed our table. It felt really awkward and to be honest if we didn’t have to pay a service charge we wouldn’t have tipped. Such a shame as the food here is good and we’ve all been before. But the service completely let it down and really needs addressed.

    Staff were very welcoming. Highly recommended are the chicken wings, pork spring rolls, squid, pork rice bowl and phojito. Good food, good service. 5 star.
