Found in Manchester's beautiful and historic Corn Exchange, Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too.     Was unable to get a receipt for food. We paid the bill on a mobile device but was unable to get a breakdown of what we ordered which we felt was odd. We felt we were overcharged?! Long wait between starter finished and main course due to issues in the kitchen. Approx 30mins, but the food was amazing.

    Appalling experience in a very long time. No idea who was actually waiting on out table. Had to ask multiple times to place the order, check where our food with various staff members and had request high chair. We were completely ignored as customers and having to wait for a bowl of rice or broth for 50mins where the restaurant is half empty makes it very poor dining experience. The staff either weren't trained how to offer customer service and kept forgetting what we've asked for or ordered. At one point we had asked 3 different staff when will our meal be delivered and all were saying in 2mins. In the end it was nearly an hour wait. Imagine that plus a very bored toddler that wanted to leave the table. Complete lack of awareness and customer service. They don't even wear uniform so how are you supposed to guess who is working there???? I actually made a prebooking but the person that sat us was not interested in the slightest what the reference was or the occasion. It was my friend's birthday and gosh she also had to wait with us for the dessert about 20mins between placing the order and being served. The main course was tasteless and probably staff rushed it out to make up for the mistake of forgetting to send our order to the kitchen in the 1st place. My husband had ro leave with my daughter earlier and so skipped the pudding part altogether. At no point were we given any apology and when it came to paying the waiter left a card payment device on our table to I suppose DIY. This really is beyond me how do you expect anyone to come back and leave service charge for such treatment. I definitely won't be coming back again.

    The food is amazing, never had any bad meal there. It is however, quite cold in the restaurant, staff disinterested, and we waited 30 mins from finishing our starter to the mains arriving. Which isn’t super long but when other tables that arrived after you are served before you and even a man who arrived after us had finished his meal and left before our mains arrived, it was a little irritating. Then the bill has a service charge added automatically which I begrudge when we’re a table of two. I’ll tip if the service was good. All that said, the quality and taste of the food is its saving grace and I will still return, despite the other issues.

    Food was quite good. Service is shocking. Went for the 2nd time and for the 2nd time a main course was missed off the order. Waiter did not write the order down and insisted he didn’t need to. Then one of us didn’t receive a main course and no urgency to correct the issue.

    The restaurant was very busty when we arrived, but when I said I had a reservation the member of staff immediately knew who we were - impressive! Food was excellent as always. Starters Seafood spring rolls packed with seafood, and baby squid, really tasty and the member of staff who served us explained how to mix the accompanying sauce. Mains, chicken and rice combo and a fish with rice noodles again were excellent, well spiced. Only downside was, we asked for a bottle of wine, and had to ask for it 3 times before it arrived, it was literally a case of getting a bottle and two glasses so unsure why the delay but other people seemed to be having similar problems. Needs to be resolved.

    A very knowledgeable server who made a real effort to tell us about the food, what is was like and make recommendations. Very helpful and polite. Dealt with allergy questions well and helped both guests to find the right meal for them by asking likes and dislikes. Would go back for their level of service aside from the great food

    I booked a table 3 months ago. And today it turns out that the restaurant is closed! No one informed me about this fact! scandal! I was left without food on holidays because I am a tourist. Just yesterday I was asked to confirm if I will be there today and the restaurant is closed! Unprofessional! I never want to go there again!

    We had a nice meal with good service, however we go hit by a 12% service charge. I hate this, a tip should be my choice. If you cannot pay your staff put the prices up so I know what I am paying. I do sometimes tip on good service, but I should be the judge of that.
