   Evening started off rough as we had a 6:45 reservation and did not see a human at our table until 7:15. They were too busy to for quality service and I blame management for that. However, after complaining politely once and more aggressively a second time, we met our server. He was quite wonderful throughout the rest of the evening.. attentive and sincere. The food was awesome. The manager came to speak with us and ended up giving us complimentary desserts and coffee. It was the right thing to do and we’ll be back! Thank you to the team for taking care of our family. We had 3 generations and time is short so it was appreciated.

   Excellent food as always! We are sure to visit any time we come to Tucson. Our service was outstanding and can’t compliment Acilio G enough. Made great recommendations, anticipated our needs and provided a little wine education as well. Thanks for continuing to maintain the high quality experience we have come to expect!

   Gavi's is a local gem. The food is excellent and it has very nice ambiance. The portions are quite pleasing. I can highly recommend Gavi's.

   The food we were served was delicious although I would say the baked bruschetta was over garlicky and I love garlic. Our server was obviously new but had a great attitude and was super friendly. There was some confusion at first but over all she provided a lovely experience. We were sitting near the host stand and there was clearly some drama going on with the management which was a drag to witness during our meal. Finally we were asked if we wanted a 9 ounce wine pour to which we said sure. I have had plenty of 9 ounce wine pours and this was not one of them but the charge was.

   Food was great. Fun place and atmosphere. Service was inattentive as waiter spent too much time talking to the hostess at the host stand. Had to waive him down several times to get our food and drinks.

   It is our favorite Italian place in the Tucson area. The atmosphere is absolutely fun and energetic. The staff is amazing. The food is outstanding. Great cocktails, and wine. Our favorite place indeed.

   We discovered Piazza Gavi 3 years ago while in Tucson for our wedding anniversary. We now drive down from Phoenix to dine there. We always have a great experience and the food is always delicious! The owner is a gem!

    We had a great experience! It was incredibly bust but still had nice ambiance. We got the calamari crema, which is a reason alone to visit. They give you so much and it's just amazing! Our dinner was split, although I'd still give the restaurant 5 stars. I took the recommendation of the waiter and got an original dish called something sorrento (cannot remember). It was scallops and shrimp stuffed in white fish and then baked with a ton of cheesy-creamy sauce. The amount of flavor in this dish was insane. So good! I ate half and was so excited to eat the other half later. My husband's dish was just not the right choice. He picked some chicken dish that came in sauce but was pretty bare, especially compared to the servings we saw in other dishes. Cannot remember what it was but it came with pasta on the side and was just too basic for what he was looking for. He can't eat seafood but should have gotten one of the pasta specialties. All in all, it was great!
