                                                                        Pier 22 is a place you can go for lunch, a light bite , happy hour , or a full dinner and feel that you will eat something very special. As a person who is celiac, I appreciate the wonderful fresh crusty warm, gluten-free bread served on sandwiches or with your meal. Very few restaurants around the Bradenton, Sarasota area offer fresh baked bread that enhances everything you eat. That is a luxury item to someone who can’t  eat regular bread. The menu is filled with a delightful plethora of gf choices . The cocktails are made with care and the staff treats their guests like family! A place that bears repeating. The only place I can wait to choose what I will eat when I am seated rather than having to research ahead of time if I can eat anything before I go,

                                                                        Every person in our party was very pleased with their entree. I had the stuffed salmon and corn risotto. It was delicious. The veal piccata, and prime rib got raves reviews as well. We come here every year at least 4 times. I always order the mussels because they are sooo good, but decided to try something different and was not disappointed.

                                                                        The Happy Hour selections are very well priced and very tasty. We were a group of six and we enjoyed the grouper bites, risotto balls, and the meatballs. Our drinks were perfect each time. Dinner was delicious. The food was well prepared, presented, and priced. The seafood was fresh. Last but not least, our waitress was excellent. Definitely recommend Pier 22 and we’ll be coming back when we return.
