   A great experience in the heart of Gosforth. Great cocktails, quality food and friendly service. Perfect for dinner, aperitifs or nightcaps. We’ll try brunch next.

   Well looked after by the attentive team. Food a little slow in coming but very tasty. Music a tad too loud for our tastes.

   Love that the retaurant is dog friendly and the interior is amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the brunch menu and the food was nice although we felt it was a bit expensive for the quality and what it was, especially the sides. There was a good, broad wine and cocktail menu focusing on South America. Food and drinks service was very slow considering there weren't many other tables in. Overall we felt that something was lacking to make the whole experience click, which is a shame considering the interior and staff are amazing. Hopefully this is just because the restaurant is new.

   We enjoyed our evening meal at Pique the food was delicious and they have a good choice of wines, a small restaurant where you can come in just for drinks or have a meal, the service was a little slow as we waited some time between courses however it’s a great addition to Gosforth High Street and we’ll definitely be dining there again.

   Pique is such a welcome addition to Gosforth. The atmosphere and decor is on-trend, sophisticated and allowed us to take our time over some delicious Peruvian ceviche, fish tacos and veg small plates with spot-on cocktails. Loved having a bottle of Torrontes from northern Argentina and the service was friendly and attentive. You can tell they’ve put real thought and money into this place, but it seemed really good value for what we chose. Definitely recommend booking on a weekend evening! I’d like to see veg options marked on the menu (and with more optional veg versions, as it’s pretty limited for vegetarian and vegan) and I’d like to see skate off the menu and replaced something a tad more sustainable (I’d have bought hake etc.). Plenty options for meat eaters.

    Cracking vibes, food and drink were on points and the staff couldn’t have been happier to help with every little thing! If you haven’t tried get yourself down!
