This used to be our favorite place for pizza but the last two visits have been a major disappointment. The kitchen is a chaotic mess. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get our pizza so we had to get a go box and take out the whole pizza to get to our 7 pm event. So sad to see things slip so badly at was once a great Milwaukee restaurant.

The pizzas were delicious. The thin crust is very thin, not a bad thing, just an FYI. The Caesar salad was an unexpected highlight! Did the pull-apart cheesy bread as an appetizer and it was very yummy. The restaurant was having some technical issues so half their menu was unavailable. Also, service was friendly but it did sort of take a while to get your food. All in all, this pizza place is better than many in Milwaukee, but I don’t know if it’s a must.

We were there with a large party with one family member who is gluten free when he delivered the food we specifically asked if the one he was given my daughter was gluten free and he said no. She started eating the meal. He then came back and said that yes that was the gluten free and took from my daughter and gave to the guest the other guest trying to not make a scene kept saying it was fine but absolutely horrible service I thought that was.

Pizza Man is consistently excellent, and didn't vary their reputation for us last evening. It was, however, FREEZING cold, which is why the ambience score fell for us. Earl our waiter was attentive, friendly and courteous, as were the host and hostess.

Understaffed in kitchen-? 45 min for appetizer to come out. When pizza finally came out, one hour after order placed, it wasn't completely done. They made a new one and took half the cost off bill. No follow up as to wait and no apologies. Not their usual standard.

Colleen was great, so was the food. The Pesto Pig pizza was outstanding. They also returned my phone call re the larger reservation. All in all a great night at Pizza Man!

Seemed clearly understaffed and it affected the overall experience. I don’t fault our server who seemed to be responsible for covering the entire upper floor on her own on a Saturday night.

Disappointed once again with the service and length of time to get our dinner. We waited over an hour for our dinner. Restaurant had fewer than 5 tables on a Monday night. Had to send one of the dishes back and were all delivered at different times throughout the evening. Last meal came 10 minutes after everyone else's and it was incorrect. `We did not order pizza so this was not the reason for the wait. The food was mediocre at best.``````
