Waitress was excellent. Knowledgeable about restaurant & full menu. Cocktails were good. Very expensive. Duck tacos were highly recommended & we found them very dry, cold & tough. Lettuce wraps were unappealing & tasted bland. I like very spicey & was suggested I order Dan Dan noodles. A specialty. A Hughes plate of noodles, no seasoning & greasy. Sweet& sour chicken was not warm & lacking flavor. Hope the food improves. Beautiful restaurant but the kitchen needs to improve. A hefty check for a very mediocre meal.

Nothing special about this restaurant. Server was good, and food flavors as well. Portions quite small, which bothersome for Chinese food.

Be aware. When we ordered a wok dish the server asked if we wanted white rice for a side. We asked for options. She said fried rice was available for an “up charge.” They brought me a whole fried rice meal for regular price of $20! Is that a normal up charge?? And food delivery person said you could get a half order; we were not told! So wait staff up selling improves sales and tips. Nice. Just make certain you know the price of anything you order. Not very professional. Sad thing is the food was overall tasty. Too many places to eat to pay 2x what you think you are to pay.

This was our first visit to the new Estero location. Food quality was mixed. Star of the show was Mongolian Beef, although portion size is small compared to price. Orange chicken was “pretty good”. Same comment on portion size being quite small for menu price. The biggest disappointment was the Classic Fried Rice—it was really mushy, especially compared to the white rice that had more expected consistency and was ok. Fried Rice is the staple most customers rely on—big Disappointment! We had two apps—the chop salad and the rangoons. Both were pretty good. A recommendation for Management—your drinks list omits beer, which you have. The waiter had no idea why it is not on the list—perhaps because it is lower cost and you don’t want to emphasize it?? The wines are very expensive—not a good value. The restaurant would benefit from adding a “house wine” in each category with a better value equation. Other nearby restaurants offer this. Neighborhood Chinese (which PJK touts) gives the impression of a good place to hang out with high quality Chinese food at a reasonable cost. This restaurant is not up to par yet and hopefully they will get it together. We need a good Chinese place!

We made reservations and when We got there and asked for inside and they said it would be 35 minutes so we did outdoor and as we sat there a couple walked in no reservations and asked for inside and they sat them 5 minutes later we ordered never got water and when we asked for some 20 minutes later the waitress said they didn’t have any glasses so we left. They shouldn’t open if they weren’t prepared. Very disappointing being we were really excited about this place. Heard the people at the table next to us and they screwed up their order. Service definitely was poor. They never came back to the table Not going back

Very nice ambience. Flavors were on the bland side for the veggie lo mein. We told staff we had a vegetarian at the table, but the it came out with chicken. They comped the meal - but that would not make me go back again. Also veggie egg rolls were a small amount for the price. Would be good to go to for drinks and ambience, but not for dinner for the price.
