I thought the food was trying hard to be mediocre, but didn't quite make it. If this is the product of a Michelin Star chef, Michelin better reevaluate its system. The Korean food was wan and tasteless, unlike any of the local Korean eateries. Eg. Bulgolgi was served warm, not hot, on a mass of warm, not hot, rice. My experience of Bulgolgi is it is marinaded, served hot, right off the grill, with onions, on a hot plate. Eg. Blue Crab with cabbage starter was not blue crab, at all, but fake crab (probably pollock) served sliced, devoid of flavor, wrapped in seaweed, with little cabbage in sight. My wife's fish stew was somewhat better, but that's a stretch. Other dishes included mountain greens and noodles earning a not bad rating. Kimchee was in short supply, requiring a request for more and when finally served, was in similar short supply. If this was meant to be fusion cuisine, it lacked any defining characteristic of either Asian or Western. Cafeteria, more like, but not the check.

Poor service, we ended up leaving after 1 hr and 15 min without our food (we ordered 1 entree). Only the drinks were served. Will not be coming back

We had a reservation at 6pm. Arrived on time and stood in the reservation line with 1 party ahead of us. There was 1 host and 1 hostess, which seemed fine, but still ended up waiting some time to be seated (I’m guessing they were taking care of the walk-ins who were seated in the waiting area). Once we were seated, we spent some time looking at the menus (~10min) and were ready to order. At this point, the waitress still had not come by, and we ended up having to ask the hostess that happened to walk by our table. Waitress came by and took our order, and that was the last time she came by during the duration of our meal. During our meal, we ended up having to flag down others to get what we needed. By the time we finished, we had to flag down another waitress for the check. Only after paying for everything did our waitress come by. We told her what happened, she was very apologetic, and we were overall okay with it. I think we were more surprised because this was our first time having a waiter/waitress at any restaurant come by only once during the duration of an entire meal (and not once to check on things). Possibly a new restaurant/management issue, where employees are spread too thin? One thing’s for certain… no one was standing around idly. Food was just alright. Everything looked nice, but some misses in taste and temp. Seafood Soon Tofu Way too much chili oil to our liking. We were not given an option for spice level, but I would ask for mild next time. Taste was good though, very deep seafood flavor. Temp was nice and hot as well. Bulgogi Rice Aesthetic. Meat was decent quality. Rice was enough. Slightly on the sweeter side, but was overall pretty solid. Temp was just warm. Chicken Buckwheat Noodles Also aesthetic. Flavors were almost there (slightly bland). This is a cold dish, so could be slightly colder for a more refreshing taste. Obang Bibimbap Meh. The colors were there, but the flavors weren’t coming together.

I really enjoyed the Gangwon Buckwheat Noodles with tofu (in place of chicken). Vegetarians take note: some items are marked as (veg), but confirm with your server if they are truly vegetarian as dishes like the Tofu Kimchi (veg) are made with traditional kimchi (fish).

I was excited to try Pogu. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We ordered the beef bulgogi and chicken abalone soup. Beef bulgogi was dry and over cooked, rice was barely warm, and lacked flavor. The abalone chicken soup tasted ok, but it was like something I can make at home. Overall we had a very unimpressed experience.
