Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe.
We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that!

Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation.

We are a small restaurant and therefore we do have a strict no show- cancellation policy. we need 24 hours or more. Please be considerate of this.

What a nice find- good ambiance, excellent drink menu, have been there three times and had Chicken twice and filet- good. Service was always awesome

We have been here several times. My husband has Celiac and it's so wonderful to come to a restaurant that has no gluten so he doesn't have to worry about any cross-contamination. The food is spectacular and you would never know the bread is gluten free. The service is very attentive and the price is reasonable for type of food and service you receive. The restaurant is very small but you feel like if you are in a cozy dining room and in spite of the close proximity to other diners, it still feels very intimate.

One of my absolute most favorite restaurants! The bolognese with polenta, gnocchi, and halibut piccata are incredible!

Our second visit to Polenteria was as enjoyable as the first. Staff is efficient and helpful. Food is flavorful and hearty; comfort food for a chilly night.

I have been gluten free for 10 years due to celiac. I literally shed tears eating here last night. The owner is an absolute doll and was so incredibly sweet. It’s a tiny, yet very cozy little restaurant. The ambiance, the service and most importantly the food was nothing short of amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

Ambiance nice, Bruschetta was good. Pasta was over cooked as were the meatballs, and the polenta lacked the cheese and onions as described in the menu.
