Food was lovely. Table service was OK, but still ended up going to the bar for drinks. The coffee mashine was turned off early, possibly because it was quiz night. Quiz was OK, but it has been better.

Waited for 30 mins once seated for our drinks order to be taken. Had to fetch someone to come over. Ordered food at the same time. My chicken kebab was pink inside. The kitchen claimed they temperature probe to 85 deg and it was a vein! Well ok, but it was still pink. They replaced the dish with another that was cook through correctly. The light bites fish and chips my Mum had was ok. After we finished eating I had to fetch someone to clear the table and take our dessert order. The lady at front of house was doing an amazing job, just way overworked as also behind the bar, clearing tables, taking orders. I admired her resilience and ability to remain cheerful and professional. Overall, the food wasn’t value for money and neither was the service though no fault of the lovely lady trying to keep it altogether!

It was a very busy night. We were booked in for 18:30. We were shown our seats, given menus. We orded and had to wait we'll over 30 min for food. We were OK with that but the food was very dry as it must of been under the heat lamps. We did expect freshly prepared food as the kitchen was very busy, so thought it would be better than it was. Perhaps they forgot about the 4 meals we orded. All the table service stopped at about 22:00, getting to the bar for a drink was hectic.🤔 See what tonight's food and service is like. 🤞🤞

Food was reasonable but drinks are very expensive, I’m not used to paying £6 for a pint of beer

The food is always tasty but menu options have changed and prices seem to have gone up, the waitress put incorrect items on our order for another table which they did sort but I also had to ask for someone to take a drinks order as they have a little cove that is cute and private but this means you are a little forgotten, it’s the second time we have been in that seating and the same thing happened.

Reserved outside seating for my husbands birthday this lunchtime (just two of us) as it was forecast nice weather. Ordered starters and mains at the bar and paid cash, was seated quickly, bar staff were friendly. Outside courtyard was lovely with heated booths, nice atmosphere. Food order was Soup of the day, Halloumi Fries to start and Chicken Kebab and Steak for mains. However, both starters and main course came at the same time. Was difficult to eat both starter and main course at the same time without any of the food getting cold. Halloumi Fries and Soup were piping hot but the Chunky Chips and Steak were not hot when served to the table. Garlic and Tomato Butter for the steak was lovely. No member of staff came to the table to ask if the food was OK whilst we were eating. We left the Chunky Chips, some Halloumi Fries and half the soup as we didn't eat them fast enough and they were cold. When a member of staff came to clear the plates we told her what had happened. Her response was to blame it on the member of bar staff that took the order as it was "policy to serve both starters and mains at the same time when sat outside". There was nothing stating this on the menus that we saw and had we known we would have gone inside to eat as there was plenty of available tables. I've been in the catering industry for 35 years and have never known anywhere to have such a policy. We were really disappointed as it took the shine of the birthday celebration.

Absolutely delicious food, well presented, very generous portions, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Pleasant ambience, warm and welcoming, and quite quiet. Would definitely return to try the other options!
