   We went to Poppies based on a program called "A Taste of London" here in the states. The gentleman that hosted the show was a chef, so we thought we'd check it out on our visit to London. We loved that we could choose the fish we wanted. The food was very good.

   I was not happy with the food based on the price and presentation. The fries were lacking flavor and the cod was dry.

   A local walking tour guide recommended this for fish and chips and Poppies did not disappoint. We enjoyed our meal and the service.

   Place smelling so much oil. When u leave from restaurant, you will smell from your clothes all day. We tried calamari and fish and chips, calamari was bad. Fish and chips deliocus. Waiters are very kind and friendly.

   We were told we had to stop here for fish and chips. It was good but not the best we had in London. The atmosphere was fun and service was great!

   It's always a pleasure to go to Poppies. The food is great, the service is excellent, and even though there was a lot of noise from the kids, it's a very pleasant place. And I want to highlight the work of the waiters and the service in general.

   Food and service were excellent. The haddock and sole were cooked well - batter was crisp and not oily, and the fish flesh was moist, not dry. Chips were good.

   We had a meal at Poppies and were excited to try but we were unfortunately satisfied, we have definitely tasted better Fish& Chips elsewhere. The service was also dissappointing, was trying to get the attention of my waiter who wasn’t looking yet I was being ignored by the rest of the staff. I was done with my food but my plate was taken away from me without even being asked if it was okay to or waiting for my friend to finish eating. I was mid-conversation and that gesture felt very rude
