   I was excited to go to Poppy+Rose for brunch because of the chef/owners but left a bit disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, very nice servers but like other reviewers mentioned the ambience is not so awesome. It’s a small space and it’s set up to be communal which is not necessarily a bad thing but it’s really loud. It’s not a chill vibe for a relaxing brunch. We were directed to the parking at 742 Maple Ave via the Open Table app but it was closed which luckily was not a problem because there were other lots were around. And it’s not the best DTLA location either. I drove 50 miles round trip for an ok experience. The website has photos/video of a lovely patio but there is no patio at the Wall St location at least not currently.

   Such a nice homey vibe! I came here for a birthday brunch and it was very laid back and classic. Def recommend if you’re not looking for one of those yuppy places :D
