   I had the veal picatta.well prepared could use slightly more lemon for my taste., though it was very good. My wife had the chicken and artichokes. A very large serving again well prepared and very tasteful

   Glad overall you had a good experience! Hard to match everybody's exact taste, a few days ago someone mentioned too much lemon :)...but if you had mentioned to the waiter, we would have gladly fixed a new serving...next time, thanks again!

   We have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Tonight was no exception. Our server Nick was (and always is) very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our meals were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed fresh grouper with crabmeat over angel hair pasta in a lemon butter sauce and veal osso bucco over parmesaen risotto-both from the daily specials menu. Everything is freshly prepared to order. Portofino is a special place. We are lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in Myrtle Beach!

   Best Italian in Myrtle Beach. Locally owned, chef came around to tables to check on food. Could not have been any better. We had rigatoni Bolognese and egg plant parmesan

   Superb authentic Italian food. Not a Myrtle Beach tourist trap, would be outstanding in any licale.

   This was our 4th visit. It was outstanding as usual. We brought 4 of our friends & they thought it was great. I have had one of his specials every time and never been disappointed. Always top notch

   We plan our trip south for the winter around restaurants and Portofinos is one of our favorites if not our favorite! Always consistently outstanding!

   My three guests and I dined at Portofino on a Saturday night. I was first struck by how far apart the tables were and with odd shapes. We were seated at a table that looked like it was designed to be paired with another one to make a large square so two of the guests were rather far apart compared to the other two. Our server Joe was fantastic so no concerns there. The small salads and soup were good but not great. I had the veal piccata and was disappointed. The veal was tender but the sauce didn’t have enough lemon flavor for a piccata and the sauce had way way too much parsley. The guest with the eggplant parm enjoyed his dish. The other two were just ok.

   Not sure I get your comment on the 'odd table shape'... As far as the veal piccata, we always try to balance flavors without overpowering with lemon / sorry you did not find it as perfect as it should... Glad other guests had a more enjoyable experience and Joe did. as always, a great job!

   I took some friends that had never been before and they absolutely loved it!! Dave took very good care of us as he always does. Our meal was fabulous!!
