   This just wasn’t the vibe for us. You’re hit with an overwhelming aromatic smell when you walk in that immediately gave my wife a headache. The tables were uncomfortable and the chairs are so low the table is almost at chin height. We asked our server what the time limit was on tables and she said it wasn’t a big deal because they weren’t fully booked but then proceeded to stop by our table every 3-4 minutes to check on us. She was so pushy. It felt like she was on our date with us which made it really uncomfortable. The drinks were mid considering they call themselves a mixology bar. I paid over $20 for a drink that barely filled 1/3 of a rocks glass. There no dress code and they let their patrons take flash photography which is extremely rude to the other guests. This place has a great social media account but it creates an illusion of a place that doesn’t exist in reality. All in all it was a very disappointing experience for my birthday. We didn’t even get real food because we wanted to try the caviar service and it is NOT worth it.

   A very lovely evening. Everyone was a professional, friendly and well informed about the food and drinks which were outstanding It was nice to see how much everyone who worked there really loved their profession. This is my third time back and I’m waiting for a special occasion to return. Thank you for making my friend’s birthday celebration so memorable.

   Prequel was outstanding. We seek out cocktail bars when we travel, and have been to many smart interesting and fun places. Prequel is one of those that just go gracefully from strength to strength. It was comfortable, personable and entirely successful in creating unexpected deliciousness without trying too hard to impress. We had four cocktails and all were good but three out of four were extraordinary in their balance and flavor. Like a french meal that is seasoned to perfection. The food was also like but unlike what you might get elsewhere. If we lived here we would be happy regulars.

   Speakeasy concept. Interior design is absolutely fantastic. Loved every detail, from the "front desk" to the washroom wall decor. Food and drinks were delicious, and the service was amazing.

   Lavender lemon is the best cocktail I’ve ever had and couldn’t recommend it more ! They have the best coacktails I’ve ever had and the steak tartare is phenomenal!

    The service was fantastic Our male waiter (didn’t ask for his name) recommended great drink options for my partner and I and completed my suit which I appreciated. The food was very well made although the portion was a little too small in my opinion but the price is more than fair considering the ingredients used. But 3 apps, 2 drinks and a tip for 140 is fair and didn’t ruin the experience at all. The vibes were on point, I only wish the entrance was somewhat cleaner, the street entrance didn’t really work with a fancy rope over a crooked wet sidewalk lol. Overall it was a great date night, would recommend.
