Prime Seafood Palace is a modern steakhouse offering a selection of beef, seafood, and vegetables all sourced from purveyors we love and value. Unexpected - a space to truly experience in person. The main entry is located in a quiet courtyard, drawing patrons away from the humming activity of Queen Street West. Inspired by Matty Matheson’s travels, East Coast roots, and appreciation for architecture, the menu nods to the classic steakhouse tradition while highlighting seasonal ingredients.

    The food was decent BUT I was very disappointed. By the name I thought it was a seafood restaurant but it’s actually a steak place as I was informed. Also, the menu online is NOT the same menu on-site. Online there are several seafood and fish options, on-site only 1 fish option as a main. Disappointing as I don’t eat any red meat and am a pescatarian. Cocktails listed online are not updated either. However, the space was beautiful.

    This was hands down the best meal and service I’ve ever had. We walked in and they accommodated our needs and were so welcoming. The food was incomparable to any other place we’ve been. They remembered details I entered when making the reservation and it made us feel valued. Our waiter Daniel was world class. He made excellent recommendations and was incredibly personable.

    Probably one of the best tables available in the country! The prime rib was cooked and seasoned to perfection and I know prime rib!!! Plus the fit for a king -sized Yorkshire pudding was the absolute perfect compliment to the meal. I also had the maple tart for dessert which was served sauced with maple syrup made from the sap of a one hundred year old tree and topped with a hearty wedge of a soft brie-like cheese. We stated with a lobster spaghetti in a delicious cream sauce which sounds heavy but was not. We also were treated to tender,smoked slices of pork belly (they called it bacon) also in a sweet sauce along with a fresh-from- the- farm bowl of Gem lettuce with a green olive dressing which, in itself, was delectable.The service was highly professional and welcoming. What a fabulous addition to the Toronto culinary scene! Can’t wait to go back!
