   This is the first time we have been to the Provenance Kitchen, and it came highly recommended. The food was excellent. Really delicious. And let's face it, it is ALL about the food. A number of people had steaks but I had fish and it was fab. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. Delicious sides. The service was excellent too and we were treated very well for the entire time. The restaurant is a little out of the way for us (25 min drive) but frankly worth it. This is not a criticism but the front of the restaurant is not overly inviting but who cares? Happy tastebuds trump the facade. Good amount of parking. There is an enclosed area which one could sit outside on a warm evening. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back!

   Food and service always good but dont expect an intimate dining experience, hard accoustics so noise levels do tend to bounce around the rooms

   We had a wonderful lunch here for my birthday. Kate and her team were friendly, efficient and my dietary needs were catered to really well. We will be back!

   In Cambridge there are lots of places serving the same sort of meals. Provenance provides something different and tasty - the real wood fire is the difference. The cured gurnard was very interesting and tasty. As a desert lover would like to see more variety at that end of the meal.

   Welcome always warn and friendly. Service is very good and food is excellent! Good quality ingredients, cooked well and extremely delicious. What more can you ask for. We keep coming back with friends who live nearby.

    We have been to Provenance Kitchen on a few occasions previously and have never been disappointed. For the most part, this occasion was no exception. The food was great, however, we found the service quite slow and inattentive which is unususal for Provenance kitchen. Diners who were seated after us received their meals before us. We must have been waiting over 35 minutes for our main courses and then there was a further delay of approximately 25 mins for our table to be cleared before desserts could be ordered. While it would not necessarily prevent us from returning, it was frustrating and unnecessary.
