Purgatory Resort a wide range of cuisine with 3 on-mountain restaurants and 5 restaurants and bars in the base Village area.

Unveiled in 2008, Purgatory Lodge was part of a $50 million base area investment and is the new anchor of the base Village. A luxury ski-in/ski-out property, Purgatory Lodge features upgraded skier amenities and a new and enhanced Purgy’s Restaurant and Bar. Guests of Purgatory Lodge enjoy access to premium amenities including a private game room and lounge dining room serviced by Purgy’s Restaurant.

As Purgatory's flagship restaurant, Purgy's Restaurant & Bar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner both summer and winter. During the winter ski season, an upscale casual Apres-Ski menu is available from 3pm-6pm, with a mountain casual fine dining menu available from 6pm-9pm including burgers, steaks, seafood, pasta, and elegant plated meals.

They were out of like five different things when we went and it took forever but our server was good and the food was good once it came

My rating is based off of the dinner menu. The lunch menu on the other hand was great food. Avoid their dinner menu at all costs.

We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing meal we shared. Cooked to perfection medium rare filet mignon, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and one of the best Caesar salads ever.

Terrible experience, they did not hold the reservation and canceled all reservations at 4 pm day of. Saying they are not holding any reservations on New Year’s Eve.

We had reservations for New Years eve. We show up, they cancelled all reservations! We received an email stating that they mistakenly allowed reservations and that it was first come first serve. With no tables, as we were under the impression we had one, we had to ditch and go somewhere else. They first lied and said their system was down. There were a lot of angry customers. If visiting, bring your own food or plan on going somewhere else. Amateur.

We had a reservation for 7 PM for a party of 5. At 7 we were told the wait for food is 60-90 minutes. The staffer said the wait was because they had to focus on the member/condo owners in the other room first. Talk about making someone feel second rate. At least our staffer was up front, we appreciated that. We had a cocktail and went back to our VRBO.

Food very marginal, ambiance they isn't any, expensive for lack of food, ambiance, and they were out of one of the sides that made up my tasteless Mojo chicken dish. We asked for 2 hot teas and they were barely warm, when asked if they could microwave them, we were told there wasn't a microwave. Waiter managed to "find" one to reheat hot water for teas Waiter tried hard but couldn't make up for the whole mess called Purgy's. Never ever again

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It took an hour and a half to get our meal while there were only 5 other tables seated. We hardly saw our waitress, then they spilled ice water all over me when putting our food on the table, the waitress never came by after that, never brought another water over and I had to get up to request the check after waiting for someone to come by for 20 minutes, still soaked from the water which they gave me a handful of napkins to dry it up. Horrible service, poor food quality for the prices, overall two thumbs down and would not recommend this place to anyone.
