   We were fortunate to secure an inside bar sitting for 1845 having booked via Opentable at 1800 on a Saturday night. When arrived we were told we’d be sitting at the bar over looking the cooks. Obviously not comfortable with this and waiter and person in charge were extremely understanding and managed to seat us at a table. Service, food and ambiance were first rate. Bit pricey but top quality food and staff.

   Avoid at all costs!! I would never normally write a review however this experience was so awful that I felt compelled to write something. My partner and I went here last night for dinner and it was categorically the worst Italian I have ever had. We had the bruschetta to start and the bread was not fresh and even when toasted you could tell it was old. The tomato’s on top were very clearly just out of a can and again not fresh. The pasta was over cooked and was soggy, the steak which we asked for medium rare came well done and was so chewy that it was also inedible. The only saving grace was an acceptable glass of red that we ordered. Overall this is a tourist trap and would go anywhere but here. I am absolutely horrified that this had good reviews and have no idea who would possibly recommend a place like this. AVOID!

   Looking for an authentic Italuan meal in Melbourne we came across Quando Quando. It didn't disappoint! White tablecloths, excellent service and delicious food. Would definitely come again.

   Our second time after enjoying a meal and the service 4 months ago and there isn't a bad word you can say about this place. Friendly, respectful service and an authentic traditional menu. The food is absolutely divine! Thank you to the team!
