At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line.  Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

    The ambiance was amazing and was elevated with how good the food was as well. Our blonde waitress, I forget her name unfortunately, was the best waitress ive ever had. She took care of us and made my friend’s birthday really special. Great restaurant, will most likely make it at least a yearly visit now.

    Exceptional from the moment we called to advice of our delay to the leaving. Every single staff member provided the same outstanding service. The curated menu beyond our expectation. Thank you for making our celebration one of the best dining experience we’ve had this year. We’ve been to several Michelin star, recommended restaurants in GTA - you have restored our faith. Amazing . 10 stars if there was one!

    Great restaurant. Food was very good and the service fast and efficient. Quite energetic and fun, the only disappointment is a rather too commercial drinks selection.

    Everything was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. The friendly, lovely, hardworking staff made it an unforgettable dining experience. Obviously the food is important too, lol. And it was exceptional! Delicious, creative, and generous portions. I am excited to return :)

    My friend and I dined there for the first time last night and it was the best restaurant experience I’ve had in years!!! We got the curated menu and we were blown away by every dish. They also have an amazing team. Everyone was very sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable when we asked questions about the dishes. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Thank for such an unforgettable experience Quetzal!!

    The restaurant is very cosy and the service was great. The food was the real star, especially the Garlic Butter Scallops and Empanada. Would definitely come back!

    Sat at the bar given difficulty getting a table. Service and friendliness of the bartender was excellent. Went with the chefs choice menu and no regrets. Will visit again!
