Beyond the great edifice of Quo Vadis is a charming dining room and a bar serving cocktails and champagne, wines and ales. The menu is changed merrily & daily and offers simple, seasonal and good fare. We also boast two handsome private dining rooms, both beautifully appointed and very well attended to.

Not as good as previous times, I don't know who a gent was talking to one of the tables who disappeared back into the kitchen was rather rude, loud and obnoxious to the table he was talking to or should I say very loudly, everybody could hear what he was saying. Menu still the same even though not been there for nearly a year. I had the pie this used to come with mashed potato on the side, nothing. The side orders for the vegetables was poor, being only a spoonful especially when it cost £5.50 per portion. Was considering joining the members club upstairs, but as the place has gone downhill, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. I feel this place has lost it's way.

There was no atmosphere whatsoever - although the lighting was perfect you could do with some background music so you are not hearing the conversation from every surrounding table - it felt like a doctors waiting room. We actually left to eat somewhere else as it felt too uncomfortable in such silence. Lovely decor and service but lacks ambiance.

We picked the perfect place for an early lunch before a Saturday matinee performance. Excellent and welcoming greeting followed by wonderful food and service. Will go again.
