We came here for our kids. The ambiance and rainforest was really cool but that is where is ends. The food is disgusting, all frozen food, and what ever was fresh was served with mold on it! It took forever for the food to arrive too and then it was cold. For the price of the food, it is NOT worth it.

I can honestly say we will never return to the Rainforest Café. We knew going in that the food would be overpriced and mediocre, but we wanted to give our daughter a fun restaurant experience. When we arrived, we were seated promptly and then waited over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and take a drink order. This was after I sought out a manager, and pointed out the fact that no one had been to our table. Once someone came to us we immediately put in our food order to ensure that our young daughter would be able to get something to eat. After 40 minutes, we stopped the waitress who told us that the food was almost ready, but there wasn’t enough staff to run the food to the tables. I then found the manager again and expressed our frustration and asset if our daughter’s food could at least be brought out that would help the wait. They did bring our daughter’s food right after I asked our food followed about 10 minutes later. In total, we were inside seated at the restaurant table for over an hour before food was brought to our table. We were starving at this point so we didn’t even care that the food was horrible. I should also mention that it was incredibly loud with the base up far too high. We left with an excruciating headache. All in all we had low expectations going in, but those expectations were brought even lower with the absolutely terrible service.

Appetizer platter was delicious, but came out not warm enough. Kids enjoyed their meals, but I thought the "seasonal fruit" that comes with it was pretty pathetic looking. Also - no included dessert for kids, I was disappointed in that. Service was not great - our server forgot about us and we didn't see him for 25 minutes. Kids meals came right away (thank goodness!) but our meal took over 40 minutes and was luke-warm when it came. The kids were done eating by the time we got ours. He also forgot to get our drinks. Finally- a lot of the animals didn't work/weren't making noises or moving, and you can tell which ones are supposed to do that. Disappointing considering it's an expensive restaurant and you go for the experience.

This was the worst service experience I have ever had. We had 5:30m reservations and were seated on time. After 12 minutes no one came to ask us for drinks or acknowledge we were seated. I got up to tell the host we were ready to order. Then a wait staff came and took our order. We got drinks about 7 min later but no food came until 6:20pm. They came by at 6:10pm to tell us the kitchen was busy. I said then being the kids good first - chicken nuggets - the adult entree came out first and my daughter had to wait another few minutes. Additionally, the washroom smelled, had to on the floors and dirty toilters and had not been at all according to the posted chart. I will never go again and do not recommend it. I went two years ago and did not have this experience.

Besides the rainforest setting, we were overall unimpressed. The food was overpriced, underwhelming and we had to wait almost an hour for our dinner.

Absolutely disgustingly overpriced. 1lbs of wings =$29.99 and nothing special about them. Our table waited 45 minutes to get our food after ordering. Kids menu is garbage. Hot dogs are hot dogs… but they still somehow managed to mess them up. The only thing that could’ve numbed the entire experience would have been a cold beer … But they couldn’t even do that.

Rainforest Cafe is mostly known for its ambience and catered to kids 4-8. Kids younger may be frightened by the animals moving or noises. Older kids may find the animatronics not be as realistic. The kids menu had some choices with drinks costing extra. The adult menu had a variety of choices but was on the pricey side. Reservations are definitely a MUST otherwise expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes.

They certainly need some front house management improvement. The hosts were completely overwhelmed with reservations. It was very unorganized and chaotic. Our server, Matthew, was wonderful. Was a very poor start to the experience, which made the rest tough to enjoy.

The kids loved the experience. Food was good. The check in process was a little unorganized and the bathrooms need some attention. Our waitress, whose name I forget, was amazing and went out of her way to provide us with great service.

Server was very friendly but had NO clue what she was doing. Brought a closed bottle of wine to the table (twice) and just left it, did not really know the menu and needed some training. Hard to spend this much money and not feel served. Would not refer, other than saying the atmosphere is entertaining for young kids or go back.
